Comfortable ground floor flat with Sea Views & Direct Beach access

SeaEscape was awarded Certificate of Excellence 2017 and 2018 & is an extremely well appointed, gas centrally heated ground floor maisonette, located in a quiet, private estate with a sea view from both the kitchen and lounge. It benefits from direct access to the beach and Patterson's Walk via a private foot way.

If it is a quiet peaceful haven you are looking for and fancy a weekend or a week or two away with family or friends, this is the place for you.

It has two very attractively furnished bedrooms and both rooms can be made up with a super king size bed or two singles. Additional pull out double sofa bed in lounge. All beds have luxury mattress toppers. Also a beautifully appointed en-suite incorporated into the master bedroom which comprises of a toilet, drench shower and washbasin.

The lounge is very comfortable, light and airy with two sofas one is a flip up the other converts to a 4foot double sofa bed. You can relax and enjoy the sea views from the lounge as well as enjoy a 42" flat screen TV with SKY and DVD. There is a large video library, books and games to amuse all guests you fancy a night in.

The kitchen/diner is well designed, extremely well equipped and spacious. It incorporates a 4 seater glass dining table and chairs from which you can enjoy the seascape whilst preparing and eating your meals. It has a breakfast bar with two bar stalls. This allows 6 people to sit and eat in total. It has a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave oven, washing machine and electric wall mounted clothes dryer.

The family bathroom is light and airy and benefits from a drench shower incorporated in the bath

Bed linen and towels are provided and included in the costs so no extras.

There is also a baby travel cot, high chair and changing mat available.

There are visitor parking slots.

Children love the beach and you can do as much or as little as you want. if you want family action just 3 miles up the road is an out of bounds centre which received a certificate of excellence from TripAdvisor 2016. It has 10 pin bowling, clip and climb challenge courses, soft play, and laser tag area. Outdoors there is a 9 hole par 3 course, a 9 hole foot golf course and an 18 hole themed adventure golf.

Stroll eastwards along the beautiful coastal path to the very popular Goring Greensward, where you can enjoy watching and participating in canoeing, wind or kite surfing.

Enjoy a meal in the well loved Sea Lane Cafe on Goring Beach with its alfresco dining. Sit and watch the world and its dog walk past. You can have a BBQ on the beach or make use of one of the BBQ areas on the Greensward.Have a game of footie or cricket with the children r simply relax on the beach and dip in and out of the sea.

If you enjoy walking or cycling continue eastwards along the coastal path and stroll to Worthing Pier and loose a couple of pounds in the old fashioned slot machines, or where you can enjoy a meal in the new restaurant on the Pier. There are several good places to eat such as the Crab Shack, The Fish Factor, Food or simply enjoy Harry Ramadan's fish and chips on the beach or in his restaurant. the walk to Worthing Pier from SeaEscape is 3.8 miles and takes about an hour and half. Alternatively you can catch the local bus which runs from Ferring to Worthing Pier or cycling the route will take about 20 minutes. Continue eastwards along the cycle route to Shoreham airport where you can take refreshment in the beautiful Art Deco airport lounge. Then onto Brighton with its many attractions.

Westwards along Patterson's Walk will take you to nearby dog friendly Blue Bird Cafe where you can get a glorious breakfast whilst enjoying the seascape. Then onto East Preston, Rustington, Littlehampton and Bognor Regis.

The no 700 bus goes to Brighton and Portsmouth although you will need to change at Littlehampton.

Goring by Sea and Angmering railway stations are only a short stance away. Goring is about half an hours walk and the train runs along the coast from Brighton to Southampton or you can catch the train to London for a fabulous day out.

The South Downs for excellent walking and breathtaking scenery.

Ferring has a superb Spanish restaurant, a great Indian restaurant, several takeaways including fish and chips.

Worthing has much to offer with its numerous excellent restaurants, its theatre, the Dome Art Deco cinema and Art Deco Pier.

Explore Brighton with its famous Lanes, Palace, Marina, Devils Dyke, horse racing and wonderful shopping.

Chichester's cathedral, theatre and marina.

Goodwood for horse racing, motor sport and aviation.

Portsmouth's historic dockyard, and Spinnaker Tower

Take a ferry to the Isle of White for the day

Arundel Castle and its beautiful gardens. The Wetland Centre and take a trip on the Arun Ferry and don't forget to enjoy the interesting shops, and take a cream tea in one of its many eating establishments.

The area is very popular also for windsurfers, paddle and sail boarders, golf, bird watching.

Most of the large supermarkets are within 15 minutes drive and there are a good selection of local shops and Fast Food Outlets..

Last but not least there are 2 excellent pubs which serve very good food, The Tudor Close is within easy walking distance.

Why Monica Flashman chose Worthing

We purchased this property primarily because of its location in that is has direct access to the beach, is in a quintessential English Village and has lovely sea views from the lounge and kitchen. It is also in a quiet well maintained area with a beautifully kept communal garden and has its own parking space.

We used to visit the area with our children being that is just over an hours drive from South London. We were looking for a place that would fulfil two criteria ie a place by the sea that one day we would move to ourselves and a property that was suitable for us to let out to families and friends in the meantime.

Thus we discovered Ferring and nearby Goring. This area and then SeaEscape ticked all our boxes in that it has direct access to Pattersons Walk which is a beautiful coastal path. If you walk towards the west you will almost immediately happen across the dog friendly Blue Bird Café where you can get a glorious breakfast, tasty lunch or afternoon tea whilst dining alfresco with a glass of wine whilst enjoying the seascape. Continuing westward a pleasing seaside walk takes you to East Preston. directly past some amazing beach side properties to Rustington, Littlehampton and Bognor Regis.

Alternatively stroll eastwards towards the very popular and beautiful Goring Greensward where you can watch or participate in canoeing, wind or kite surfing. You can also play cricket or football with your family and friends on the large grass area, have a BBQ, or simply sit and watch everyone else being active or just enjoy the beautiful sun sets that are a feature of this area. Walking further will eventually take you past The Sea Lane Café where you can enjoy alfresco dining for breakfast lunch and tea (open later in Summer) and then on into Worthing with its pier and many attractions.

A lovely weekend break with the family as this property exceeds all expectations.

Attractive well maintained communal gardens surround the property and an outdoor patio set is provided so you can sit and enjoy the gardens with a sea view. Maybe dine outside on a lovely summer evening and watch the sun go down

There are two very attractive and well furnished bedrooms. The master bedroom and second bedroom can be set up with either super king beds or with single beds to suit all needs. The Master bedroom is large enough to also house a portable cot which is also provided.

a gem of seaside dog friendly getaway

Lovely well presented and equipped flat just off a popular sea front, brilliant for our 4 legged friend who could find his own way to the Bluebird cafe for coffee and sticky buns by the end of our short break.Monica was welcoming and thorough, and a font of local knowledge and advice. This is an ideal location for family holidays.. SeaEscape is located in a quiet, private estate with a sea view and direct access to beach and a coastal walk. An ideal spot for walking, cycling, dog walking, fishing or those who enjoy participating in more strenuous sports canoeing, wind or kite surfing, paddle and sail boarding. Children will love the seascape, local Greensward, and beach. There is also an Out of Bounds Activity Centre 3 miles away where the family can enjoy climbing, bowling, soft play, adventure golf, laser tag and footgolf.

You can do as much or as little as you want.

There are a number of local restaurants, pubs, seafront cafes all within easy walking distance. The two nearest seafront cafes are both licensed and provide excellent food all year round and offer alfresco dining. The dog friendly Blue Bird Cafe is less than 10 minutes walk and The Sea Lane Cafe 30 minutes walk in the other direction. Enjoy an amazing breakfast or lunch in either of these. The Tudor Close is the nearest pub and offers excellent food and is also dog friendly.

Visit our local Sistine Chapel Ceiling at the English Martyrs Catholic Church in nearby Goring. Its the only known reproduction of the Sistine Chapel Ceiling in the world and well worth a visit.

Worthing, a favourite Victorian holiday town is just a few minutes drive. Enjoy its many good restaurants, the Connaught or Pavilion Theatre, their museum, art gallery, Art Deco cinema and Art Deco Pier. Visit Highdown Gardens with rare plant species, Highdown Vineyard or High Salvington Windmill. Children can enjoy Splashpoint Leisure Centre or Brooklands Pleasure Park.

The South Downs National Park is right on the door step. Cycle, walk or fly your kite whilst enjoying the breathtaking scenery.

Then there is Brighton with its Regency architecture, fine parks Royal Pavilion, Kemp Town, Hove, Pier and Devil's Dyke, Museum and Art Gallery. Enjoy the shopping and strolling through the Brighton Lanes. Take afternoon tea in one of the retro tea rooms or pubs. Spend some time at the Marina where you can take refreshments whilst admiring the boats and enjoying the atmosphere or simply enjoy Brighton's glitz of which there is an abundance especially when you are out on the town at night.

Also don't forget if you fancy a flutter there is Brighton Racecourse which is a mile to the northeast of the centre of Brighton.

Chichester is only a 19 mile drive. Visit Chichester Cathedral, the Chichester Festival Theatre or enjoy some really good shopping.

Nearby is Goodwood for aviation, motor racing with The Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival and not forgetting Glorious Goodwood Horse Racing.

A little closer to Ferring less than 10 miles is Arundel. A lovely day out to be had visiting the medieval castle and its breathtaking gardens. Wander around the market town and enjoy tea or coffee in one of the vintage cafes. Enjoy a boat ride on The River Arun which runs through the eastern side of the town, or have lunch on the rivers edge at The Black Rabbit Restaurant. Children will love a visit to The Wetland Centre.

Spend a day in Portsmouth at The Historic Docklands. Visit The Marie Rose, HMS Victory and The National Museum of the Royal Navy or off site there is The Royal Navy Submarine Museum, Royal Marines Museum and the Explosion Museum of Naval Firepower. If you have any time left go to the top of The Spinnaker Tower and enjoy the magnificent views.

Steyning, being one of the prettiest Sussex towns is just a lovely place to spend some time with some very unusual shops and some delightful places to eat or have afternoon tea. Its a 14 mile drive (about 30 minutes) but well worth every minute.
