Seagem is a bright, first floor apartment in Findhorn, 50 metres from the sea with sea views, newly listed June 2016. The main living area of open kitchen/dining/sitting room forms part of one of three towers of the communal building, and has curved walls with a lovely full-length window letting in light. It sleeps four people: one double bedroom and one with bunk-beds. The double room has an en-suite with shower, and the main bathroom has a bath, so ideal for kids, or adults who want to relax! There is a designated car space in the private car park. With so much to see and do in the area, plus the unique light that artists love, Findhorn has been a top holiday destination for many years. Amenities: dishwasher; washer/dryer; electric night storage heaters; heated towel rails; fridge/freezer; microwave; TVs and DVD player; Wi-fi; electric oven and ceramic hob; games & books; highchair. Bed linen and towels incl. Cot on request. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Fantastic coffee shop 1 min walk; 2 pubs offering seafood 2 mins walk, post office/general store 1 min walk. Beach and marina 2 mins walk.

About The Owner

Richard and Susan purchased this property in 2016. Richard is self-employed, and Susan gave up work ten years ago to bring up their three children. Now that the children are more independent, we were keen to run a holiday home, particularly as we live in an area famed for its scenery and mild climate. Having twice hired a holiday cottage in Findhorn ourselves when the kids were small (even though it's only 5 miles away from our home), it was like a different world and we had a great time. We were convinced others could have just as brilliant a holiday here, so we bought the flat, and are enjoying helping others discover the beauty of the area.

Why The Owner chose Findhorn

Richard and Susan are local people who spent much of their childhoods on the beautiful local beaches of Findhorn, Roseisle and Burghead and know what a fantastic place this is for a holiday. Now their three children are enjoying the beaches, and despite the generation gap, love doing the same things they did, such as crab fishing on the pier, collecting seashells, creating pebble pictures and sandcastles and, of course, splashing in the waves!

What makes this apartment unique

Whenever we first stepped into the apartment, we loved it. The main living area of open plan living/dining/kitchen is part of one of the three towers forming the communal building, built in 1998. It has curved walls and a lovely full length window bringing in light and sun. We love the view from the main bedroom. The apartment is in a good location with shops, coffee shop, eating places and the beach/bay just a few minutes walk away. The two bathrooms are an added bonus.

Seagem is Superb !

Seagem is a beautiful contemporary furnished apartment , super clean , spacious, light and comfortable. Its very close to the idyllic bay and very handy for all the amenities. The weather was gorgeous so we spent several evenings sitting outside for meals at the Kimberley Inn and the Seafood Cafe, which were excellent and also sampled the organic Bakehouse very close by. Findhorn is a calm relaxing place with beautiful beach ideal for all age groups. Its a great base to explore the area with plenty to see. Susan was very friendly & helpful and the welcome pack & flowers were a really nice touch. We would definitely recommend Seagem. Thank you

Super little gem.

Findhorn was wonderful and Seagem suited us perfectly. The local fare in the welcome pack went down a treat, and the flat has everything required for a pleasant stay. I know we were a bit out of season but walking along the beach in the evening with hardly anybody else in sight is magical and so relaxing. Didn't get the chance to sample either of the village pubs but breakfast at the Bakehouse, while at first didn't look much, was really filling, and the Captains Table is perfect for a sit down and drink. For beach combing/rock hopping Cummingston beach the other side of Burghead is fantastic.
