Two Bedroom, Cosy and Characterful Cottage near Beautiful Beaches

This cosy cottage makes an ideal base for exploring the famous beaches of the stunning Gower Peninsula. It is situated on the oldest street in the village overlooking Swansea Bay.The promenade, ice-cream parlours, bars and restaurants are all within easy walking distance.

From here you can walk into the village or on to the walking paths taking you to the nearby beaches of Rotherslade, Langland and Caswell or you can drive to one of the many stunning beaches on the Gower Peninsula, including world famous Three Cliffs Bay and Rhossili.

The cottage offers comfortable accommodation with a double bedroom, small bunk bed room and open plan kitchen and living room area with woodburner. The patio at the front of the house offers space to enjoy a BBQ on sunny evenings. The cottage has everything you will need for a relaxing or adventurous break.

Please note that the cottage is situated on a hill with beautiful sea views however as a result, it may not be appropriate/accessible for all.

Lovely cosy cottage

We had a lovely stay in this cosy and extremely well-equipped cottage. The old cottage has been renovated with a modern touch but still has kept all the character. Very comfortable and thoughtful in all respects. (small but important things like cleaning things provided, kitchen extremely well-equipped and with basics like oil, flour, salt, tea etc, provided, recycling boxes, wood burner with initial wood, extremely comfortable beds + fluffy pillows and duvets) Thank you for a great stay.

We can’t recommend this cottage highly enough. It was small and cosy, clean and tidy, and furnished and equipped to a high standard. Suzanne’s welcome pack contained all the information we needed to settle in smoothly and to get a feel for the immediate locality.

Lovely cottage in good location

This is a lovely cottage in the Mumbles in easy walking distance to the sea. We stayed over Easter with our dog and found the cottage to be warm, well equipped and comfortable.

Yes - parking isn't ideal, but there is plenty close by and you soon get used to it.

I would definitely recommend this cottage.

The cottage was a lovely surprise - very quaint, very cosy, warm and spotlessly clean! The landlord popped in to see if everything was ok and very kindly returned with some kindling and logs and we were able to have a roaring fire. Nothing was too much trouble. Parking was a bit of an issue but we had been warned about that and soon had it sorted. Very hilly and very narrow roads but not a problem. The Mumbles is a delijghtful place with some lovely unusual shops and restaurants. The only one thing we'd like to suggest is that the cottage could do with a small coffee table or nest of tables as there was nowhere to park a coffee cup! Fabulous location and we had a lovely time - we will definitely go again!

Great location. Every thing you need for a cosy stay. Beautiful Cottage.

The Cottage has everything you need for a self catering holiday. Although there are a good range of places to eat near by. So thoughtfully to have a supply of logs for the woodburner. Comfy bed. 2nd bedroom small however as we were a couple it made no difference to our stay. Thanks to Steve and Suzzane for making our stay so great.
