Amazing! It has everything you need! Well equipped, comfortable, full character - with a hot tub!

7 adults and 2 kids and a dog, ranging in age from (almost) 2 to 70+, gathered to celebrate my Mum's 70th birthday at Meadow Cottage. We all had a fabulous time. Bedrooms were all comfortable with 3 good sized double, a twin on the ground floor and a single that had enough room to put the travel cot in. Sally, the owner, was quick to respond to questions we had while we were there and resolved issues as quickly as possible. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, although it could do with an extra light for making getting in and out in the dark a bit easier! There is an excellent range of books - in several different languages, board games, x-box, enormous TV and a few DVDs. For the kids (of all ages) there are books, games, toys, colouring books and crayons, DVDs, stairgate, travel cot, high chair, pates, cups and cutlery. We took a bag of toys, books and colouring and didn't need any of it!

Owner's Response: Dear Rebecca Thank you so much, I'm delighted you enjoyed your stay. With five children of our own we always like to keep the house well stocked for when we are home too. The hot tub has lights inside, but I will certainly look at the lighting for around the pool. I just got back from a lovely week at the house and hours of grass cutting:) We would love to welcome you again. Thanks again. Sally

We all had a ball! Fabulous place...

  • 5 of 5

On arrival we dropped our bags and then got rather giddy running around the beautiful kitchen space. The bedrooms are spacious and bathrooms nice and big. You really dont need to take anything with you, loads of games, books, an xbox, dvds, and freeview. We were lucky and had lovely bright weather to walk our puppy dogs. Had lots of fun with the kids in the hot tub and theres a outhouse to get changed in. All in all we have made some fantastic memories here and was sad to leave. Thank you Sally and family, love the Barkers xxx

Just home from a fab 5 days at meadow cottage. It is just fab! So much space and so many things to do. There are 2 living rooms, a large kitchen diner, 3 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms.

We were a family ranging from 63 to 4 and everyone loved it. It brought everyone together from the minute we arrived, playing football, in the hot tub, playing cards (until 3am one night!!) and games. I honestly couldn't recommend this property enough and none of us wanted to leave!

We loved all the mod cons. Fancy bathrooms, a coffee machine, dishwasher and of course the fabulous hot tub.

Sally was really helpful and sent us lots of information. Sue, who meets you on arrival was really nice and gave us some great tips on the area.

Lots to do if you don't mind a little drive of 20-30 minutes. Lovely little zoo in cleethorpes, arcades, leisure centre and plenty of places to eat out.

The area is lovely and quiet, the only sound is the goats in the field behind the house! Kids loved that.

We got a shopping delivery from asda on our arrival day and there were no problems with this.

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home, we will hopefully be back.
