Green Monkey is a bright and spacious two bedroom apartment set within Beacon Hill, a small gated development at Mullins on the famous west coast of Barbados.

Our apartment has wonderful sea views from the large terrace and affords easy access to Mullins Beach through the private coded gate.

Just a few steps through the tropical gardens you'll find the shared pool and jacuzzi. The pool is shared with 5 apartments and is seldom busy! Spend your days on the sun loungers provided and take shade under the gazebo for a cooling drink.

Green Monkey has 2 reserved car parking spaces should you wish to hire a car.

Everything is great about this property

Arranged over two floors with great sea views of Mullins beach a very comfortable nicely furnished, holiday home 2 bedrooms both en suite, the kitchen has every thing you could possibly want. We stayed from 19th April 2018 to 05th May 2018 and had a great holiday. I don't normally do reviews but this is worth a look, you wont be let down, if you are sorry. We had a great time short bus ride to Holetown and Speightstown so good restaurants close by but not on top of you. Due to Mullins beach bar being closed for renovation some days we were the only people on the beach I would imagine that the bar may make some difference but can only report it as we found it. If you want to see the green monkeys get up early they were normally most active between 0600 to 0630 on the complex we saw them about 5 times in the two weeks Dionne the housemaid is great keeps the place spotlessly clean and is a very charming lady. Kerry the owner has got it just right and was very helpful in the planning of our holiday thanks for a great holiday.

Great apartment, could not be closer to Mullins Beach. A little noisy !

We enjoyed staying at the apartment. Easy to find, an excellent location for beach lovers. The apartment itself was very clean and light and everything worked well.

It is very straightforward to cross the road and to be on the beach.

The only drawback is that it is adjacent to the west coast road and this means there is quite a lot of traffic noise. The worst noise offenders are the yellow buses ! So if it is peace and quiet that you are seeking this may not be the right place for you.

For us, though it was great.

Superb Villa, great location & a must visit

From start to finish this villa offered us everything that we wanted. You couldn't get any closer to Mullins Beach if you tried but when you are in the villa it a quiet and tranquil place. I was so supported by how large the open plan ground floor was, with the kitchen, dining and living area, it worked so well for us and to be able to open up the patio doors on to the terrace which over looks the sea was just breath taking. Both bedrooms were large and a bonus of having en-suites. The kitchen and outside area offers you everything you would want to cook some local court fish and then enjoy the evening sunset. You are in close walking or bus ride (depends on your preference) to both speightstown and Porters which have good supermarkets, shops and also amazing restaurants (if your budget stretches The Cliff is a most, at least for a cocktail at sunset). I have already booked for next year to revisit as it was my most relaxing holiday I've had.

Wonderful villa in a wonderful location

Our 1 minute walk to the beach for our pre breakfast swim in the warm waters of the Carribean set us up for a relaxing day every day of our stay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was enjoyed on the very spacious balcony most days but also enjoyed some great meals out in the local restaurants. The location is ideal for exploring the island whether by car or local transport. The generous sized bedrooms and en suites added to the feeling of luxury and the whole apartment was immaculately clean with all the facilities you need for self catering. Wonderful villa in a wonderful location.

A fabulous apartment in a stunning location

As soon as we stepped inside this beautiful island home and saw the incredible view, we knew that we were in for something special! We were absolutely right and enjoyed every minute of our holiday on this wonderful island. We have sampled so many unforgettable Bajon experiences not to mention the rum!

The property is light and airy with vaulted ceilings and fans which give a real colonial feel and it is luxuriously furnished. It was immaculately clean and very well maintained. The facilities and location are ideal. Swimming in the pool or from the beach opposite if you don't wish to go further afield but not far from other beaches too. Plenty of restaurants close by. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone considering either a relaxing or action-packed holiday or combination of both.

Green Monkey is situated perfectly for Mullins Beach. The beach is ideal for both couples and families with shallow, clear water and plenty of beds and parasols to rent. A variety of water sports are also available from the beach, or hire a boat to go and swim with the turtles.

A number of other beautiful beaches along the West Coast are within easy reach including Gibbs Bay, Alleynes Bay, Sandy Lane Beach and Paynes Bay.

For basic amenities there is a small local shop within 2 minutes walk of Green Monkey

Historic Speightstown is a 5 minute drive to the north and has a supermarket and a number of bars and restaurants. Holetown is 10 minutes to the south and has a large, well stocked supermarket. You'll also find the lovely Chattel Village with colourful gift shops and the Limegrove shopping centre, with luxury brands such as Ralph Lauren & Louis Vuitton as well as a cinema, bars and cafes.

There are numerous restaurants and bars within easy reach of Green Monkey such as Mullins Beach Bar & Grill, Tides Restaurant, Cin Cin and world renowned The Cliff and Lone Star to name a few.
