Cabin sits on 2.5 acres with beautiful trees and rock outcroppings. Almost completely surrounded by Rocky Mountain National Park and a Conservation Easement. Great patio/porch with total serenity and wildlife viewing. Perfect getaway to leave it all behind! One mile to downtown Estes Park. Close to both RMNP entrances - 3.5 miles to Beaver Meadows Park Entrance and 4 miles to Fall River Park Entrance. Within a mile of many popular wedding venues including the Stanley Hotel, SkyView at Fall River Village, and Black Canyon Inn.

Incredible stay

Amazing location for a private, white Christmas with plentiful wildlife around. Great communication with clear check in instructions, would never know that anyone was staying in the other cabin. Washing machine and dryer were immensely helpful and a rarity for a lot of holiday accommodation.

Well equipped cabin in superb location

By the end of our five night stay, my wife and I had decided that this cabin had probably provided the best experience of any property that we've rented in the States. D'Rae and Kim's cabin has the feel of a home rather than a vacation rental. It's cosy, exceptionally well equipped, private and yet close to all of the (ample) amenities of Estes Park. However, the cabin's location is, of course, the jewel in the crown. The memory that will stay with us for a very long time is that of having breakfast on the verandah of the cabin looking out over the Rocky Mountains Needles range. Stunning may sound like hyperbole but you need to try it for yourself.

Paradise for a week

We saw Mule deer, a Bear and when we went to town so many Elk. Very peaceful and gorgeous surroundings. If staying in CO again we would definately go back.

Relax and enjoy the view

The cabin had incredible views and stars were beautiful thanks to the dark sky community. It was a little challenging finding the cabin checking in after dark, but no biggie. Close enough to walk to The Stanley and downtown, but far enough away for a bit more peace.

Why they chose this property

We have always known we wanted to be in Estes Park. It was just a matter of finding the perfect place. We looked for years and years and never found anything. The second we drove up to 811 we fell in love with it and knew it was "The One". We bought this property because it is a secluded little piece of paradise and only one mile from downtown. Most cabins in Estes have neighbors really close, so you don't really have total privacy. If you do have some privacy you are usually a little ways outside of town, but not here! Once you get to the cabin you don't have anyone else around, and have your own spectacular view to enjoy. If there is a big festival going on in town and there's trouble parking then you could actually walk. 811 just had everything we were looking for and so much more in a dream place.
