Modern two bedroom apartment with new furniture, fully redecorated

We bought this lovely two bedroom river side apartment in February 2016 as a second home and somewhere we could use as a coastal retreat, enjoy the local scenery and more importantly relax. The apartment has fantastic riverside views and from the lounge or bedroom watch the North Yorkshire Steam Train on its daily visits to Whitby railway station. In addition the apartment has an undercroft secure parking space. The apartment has been fully redecorated with a new king size bed in the master bedroom a new oak dining table and chairs in the dining area plus a 40" television, DVD player and new leather settees in the lounge

We bought this property to use on a monthly basis as a weekend retreat. When we are not using the apartment we decided that we would like to invite other like minded individuals to stay at the property.

We visited the property only once before we purchased it, the apartment is so relaxing it just feels like home, which it is our second home.

What makes this apartment unique

We visit Whitby on a regular basis as we live in North Derbyshire and decided that we would buy somewhere close to home for the occasional weekend away. We wanted to be close to the town but far enough out for it to be quiet and relaxing, we wanted to be able to park our car without having to look for a parking space in Whitby. We found our apartment with 2 bedrooms, overlooking the river Esk so we can watch the tidal changes and wildlife from our lounge and bedroom window. We have a secure undercroft designated parking space

We would like to say we had a lovely tranquil week in your lovely apartment. We never tired of the view from the window, the ever changing river with its wildlife....even a seal on a couple of occasions .....and of course the steam train opposite. We will certainly recommend your apartment to friends.

Fantastic Relaxing Break

Very relaxing, Very comfortable, Splendid views from the patio doors always something to see.

Only a short walk into Whitby and flat no hills to contend with,

The accommodation was first class with every thing you need full equipped kitchen

Bed rooms spacious and very comfortable

Parking was a bonus.

Highly recommended will certainly return

Wonderful location - lovely apartment

The apartment was very spacious and well furnished. Great location within easy walking distance of Whitby town which is very quaint and interesting. A reserved underground car parking space was a bonus. Lovely views of the river where wading birds were regular visitors and easily visible from the apartment. Highly recommended and we would definitely stay there again when visiting the area. Thank you!

Excellent Holiday Apartment

Can’t fault the apartment or location. Parking was inconvenient due to some maintenance work being carried out but I assume this was a one off.

As soon as we found out the Management Company were working on the undercroft parking we advised you and I do agree that having to move your car between 9am and 4pm is annoying but our only option was to cancel your holiday. This is the first time this has happened during our ownership of the apartment and we will pass your comments to the Management Company. The photo on the HomeAway site does not do the location justice!

The flat was clean, comfortable, attractive and provided all you might reasonable need in terms of appliances. The location was superb, the view from the flat was not only lovely but interesting, wildfowl, boats, steam train's and in the photo the apartment building looks rather dark when in fact the light is brilliant. It is a fifteen minute walk into the heart of Whitby which was very lively and interesting, but the apartment complex itself was quiet it felt 'away from it all' despite being very close to all that Whitby had to offer. We are delighted to reccommend this apartment as a place to explore both Whitby and the surrounding areas from.

A great place to stay

The apartment is in a lovely spot, overlooking the estuary and a short walk from all that Whitby has to offer. We had all the facilities we needed and enjoyed seeing the steam trains passing on the other side of the river. Beds were comfy, everything was clean and we had no problems. Communication with the owner's was easy and quick. Would recommend.
