Tuscan getaway
The house was great on so many levels. Fabulous location and views. The house was well equipped with everything you would need... we all loved the BBQ and pizza oven. The only small criticism is the house states air con when only one bedroom had it the rest were ceiling or portable fans. Would highly recommend!

A Great Retreat
This place is very large and contains many interesting things to look at and do. We were too early in the season for the swimming pool, but there was a jacuzzi and a wood oven. I really enjoyed cooking in the wood oven and also cooking steaks over wood coals on the grill. The view is outstanding! There is a large grocery store 10 minutes away, which was great for us since we made our dinners ourselves. During the day we made day trips to Lucca, Pisa, Firenze, and even Modena (to see the Bucket of course!). The Podere is very well situated to visit all of these cities. One small note, if you are arriving at night (like we did), the driveway can be pretty scary, but its not at all bad during the day. Thanks! The hosts respon

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS VIEW!!
Three septuagenarians thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The kitchen, living room main floor master suite and outdoor areas were perfect! Couldn't have asked for better weather in October. We also really enjoyed the BBQ grill and the woodfired pizza oven. We watched a video on how to use, really an important step, very hot is a key point. Too cool for the pool but the spa was fun, I think the the temperature is much hotter than indicator displays. The drive up, about 200 meters was challenging the first time up but you get used to it. A few concerns but not a deal breaker; WiFi is quite slow and to watch TV you need to turn off all other devices. Since it was October there were a lot of stink bugs but only a nuisance. For 70+ year old the two bedrooms two flights of stairs up was a real challenge. The hosts were very attentive to our questions and were very responsive.

tolle Lage schönes Haus
Die Lage des Objekts ist wunderschön. Sehr ruhig, tolle Aussicht.

Fantastic comfortable luxurious accommodation in a beautiful peaceful location
Set above an olive grove overlooking the small Tuscan village of Monte a Pescia and with beautiful views of the surrounding hills. The house is very spacious with large and comfortable rooms and is tastefully decorated. The facilities are excellent and very comprehensive including large kitchen with cooking range and large fridge /freezer including ice machine, full laundry facilities, plenty of bathrooms, a large covered veranda, outdoor pizza oven and barbecue, small swimming pool, 6 person jacuzzi. The owners are very friendly, informative and helpful giving any assistance required. This is really a great place to unwind and explore northern Tuscany and was the best holiday let I have experienced.
