Location and ambience

Fantastic location in the heart of the old city. Stepped outside front door into the famous Cahors Markets, restaurants, andshops. Tourist office, bus stops and everything you could need a minutes walk. Apartment was spotlessly clean, modern facilities in petite bathroom/laundry and kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and it was all housed with a quirky back entrance to the building built in 1622. Owner responded promptly to emails and a family member gave us an introduction to the apartment. Would definitely recommend this apartment.

Great Apartment in Cahors

We were lucky to find a great little apartment right on the market square in the centre of Cahors. It was a short walk to anything you want to see in Cahors as well as being right in the midst of the restaurant and retail centre. Jose met us, helped bring our bags up and gave us all the info we needed to be able to make the most of our stay. The apartment was compact but very well laid out to maximise the space. We loved Cahors, and staying in this apartment really helped us enjoy our stay.

This was the right place for me to spend a month!

I won big when I rented this apartment for a month. The location was right with regards to what this area of France has to offer and it was in the center of this charming old town. The market was right out my door. It was charming, clean and comfortable. The apartment not only had all the amenities needed it also had the supplies necessary to use them. This part of France offers exceptional sites yet this location has the charm of a small town. I was able to walk and explore the entire town. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They were there if I needed anything. Susan

Besser geht's nicht!

Nach einem überaus freundlichem Empfang durch die Eheleute Paulos sowie einer Einweisung in die technischen Geräte haben wir wundervolle 7 Wochen in der Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Wohnung ist komplett mit allen Geräten ausgestattet. einschließlich Gefrierschrank, Geschirrspülmaschine, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine in der Küche, Waschmaschine im Badezimmer und modernem TV-Bildschirm im Wohnzimmer mit mehr als 10 deutschen Programmen. Der WLAN-Empfang ist einwandfrei. Die Fenster schließen gut, sodass man vom Aufbau der Marktstände jeweils mittwochs und samstags so gut wie nichts mitbekommt. Den Besuch der Märkte an diesen beiden Tagen haben wir nie versäumt, denn das Angebot der regionalen Produkte ist überwältigend. Beide Schlafzimmer verfügen über große Betten mit bequemen Matratzen und Einbauschränke mit großzügigem Platzangebot. Das Wohnzimmer ist mit einem Sofa sowie einem ausziehbaren Hochtisch gemütlich eingerichtet. Vom Balkon aus lässt sich das Treiben der quirligen Bewohner beobachten. Zur Wohnung gehört auf einer halben Etage tiefer liegenden Terrasse auch ein Grill sowie ein Tisch mit 4 Stühlen, überdacht mit einem großen Schirm. Die Wohnung liegt wunderbar zentral unmittelbar gegenüber der Markthalle und nur wenige Meter entfernt von einem empfehlenswerten Lokal "Coin des Halles". Unseren PKW haben wir in der Tiefgarage des nur rund 150 m entfernten Amphitheaters abstellen können, wobei die Monatskarte nur € 90,00 gekostet hat. Man kann also nicht nur Cahors zu Fuß erkunden, sondern auch zahlreiche Ziele in der näheren Umgebung mit dem PKW und hat abends wieder einen sicheren Abstellplatz. Das bekannte Postkarten-Panorama von Cahors erkundet man am besten persönlich durch einen Besuch des Aussichtspunktes auf dem Mt. Saint-Cyr. Im Ergebnis kann man die Eheleute Paulos für dieses Ferienangebot bei einem fairen Preis nur beglückwünschen.
