Pretty Cottage in a loverly location.

  • 5 of 5

Very pretty cottage with excellent facilities. The view from this property is stunning, with a decked area to sit out and enjoy the weather and have a barbecue. There are some very good walks from the cottage, so no need to take the car out.

The Red Lion pub in the village had just started serving food the weekend we were there, and it looked a very good menu, with good value Sunday Lunches.

Plenty to see and do in the area - Somerset Steam Railway, Dunster Castle, Minehead and many other places of interest, or chill out at the cottage and enjoy the tranquil peace and quiet.

Will be returning again soon.

Stunning Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Michael and I loved the cottage, it was really comfortable and very clean. We are frequent visitors to Timberscombe, it is one of our favourite places and we will be back, and would love to stay again at this cottage.

peaceful and cozy

  • 4 of 5

Quaint and comfortable.

Quiet location and great for exploring the nearby sights.

Clean but slightly tired in places.

Could have done with a hairdryer as 1st place not to have one and glad I took my own tea towels as only 1 provided for 4days.

Having said that bed linen and towels were lovely.

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, I'm glad you found the cottage comfortable and enjoyed the lovely Exmoor surrounds. I'm so sorry you didn't find the hairdryer, we do have one in the wardrobe drawer, but if you were staying in the other bedroom I can see why you may not have found it - damp hair in December is not at all nice, so we'll be sure to update the info pack detailing where everything is, as there are spare tea-towels in one of the kitchen drawers too. Thanks again and best wishes, Becky
