About this property

Right at the doors of the Mount Teide National Park, this Open Space Villa will delight your senses. Relax and unwind. No one will find out where you are (unless you want them to). This charming 'little' space is surrounded by vineyards and nature and will make your stay unforgettable. With views to the forest and to the sea this villa will recharge your senses. An incredible place to switch off.
The villa is located in the countryside of the island. Not far from the sea, about 10 min drive from the closest beach.

La Esperanza, where the villa is located, is a very small town on the way to the Mount Teide National Park. Just a few steps away from the house, you can start your journey towards and exiting hiking day!
Guest will be able to enjoy all the common areas on a private way. Our heated indoor swimming-pool adjacent to the living room will make your stay different.
Two terraces are available to relax and unwind.
A laptop working area is located on the upper floor where you can enjoy views to the sea, and the lower floor of the house.
When you arrive at the villa, we will greet you and offer you all the information you need. During your stay, we will be reachable to help you out with any issue it may arise regarding your vacation. We will be available by phone for any queries or any unlikely emergency.
Due to the characteristics and location of the house, the most convenient way to get around and discover the island is by car.

***HOUSE RULES***
•Please do not leave trash inside the house. Please note the instructions for taking out the garbage set out in the house manual (as it needs to be done the night before, we understand there may still be a little garbage left from the morning you leave).
•Please do not leave dirty dishes and leave the house reasonably clean and tidy.
•If something breaks during your stay, please don't wait for us to discover it. We understand that accidents happen! That way we can fix or replace it prior to the next guest's arrival.
•Parties are not allowed. If we receive well-founded complaints from any neighbour regarding the behaviour of guests, you'll be immediately requested to leave the house and Airbnb will be notified. We are very flexible and easy-going people, but disturbances to neighbours are a real issue.
• Please do not feed the wild animals that may show up by the house (cats, rabbits, birds, etc).
• Be extra careful when using the bedroom/living room sofas, couch and chairs. Sitting on them with wet towels and/or wet clothes is strictly forbidden. Guests will run with the cost of cleaning due to misuse.
• Make use of the house on a respectful and tidy way.
• Due to risk of fire, lighting candles on the swimming pool wooden floor and terrace is not allowed.
• Smoking is not allowed in the villa.
•Only people who are officially on the reservation can sleep in the villa.
•Please be sure that you've turned everything off (lights, electronic equipment, etc.) every time you leave the villa and when you check out.
• Before you check out, make sure you don´t leave any personal belongings behind. If you do so and shipment of belongings is required, we will charge the official fee plus 15 euro due to shipment processing.
•The Spanish legislation requires us to notify to the police the data of all people staying in the villa; so we must ask you to show us your passport. We are not passionate about the idea, but rules are rules…

An interesting modern design in a great location to explore the Isalnd

The house is very modern as shown clearly in all the photos on this site. It is located in a very rural area so a car is essential. it is quite well equipped but don't expect to be able to cook gourmet meals as you may run out of pans! The owners and family are very responsive to any problems that might occur. Be prepared that the weather can be changeable here as it is at the north eastern end of Tenerife and some way up the foothills of Teide. It is in a very quiet location and we enjoyed the solitude and peace of this rural setting. Nearby, the village of La Esperanza has a small supermarket that is, fortunately, open on a Sunday. Access to the North or South of the Island is very easy from this location. We spent a lot of time visiting the various shopping centres dotted around the Island! (there is no VAT in Tenerife). Equally, it is very simple to head up into the forest that surrounds Teide and onwards to the volcano itself for a totally different Tenerife from the sunshine worshiping tourist areas. A word of caution is that the house is definitely not child friendly. The indoor swimming pool has no shallow end, the outdoor deck has no barrier to stop a child falling off it and the internal stairs are all of an open design. That said, it was great for us as we have no children!

Wunderschönes Haus in fast optimaler Lage

Wir durften jetzt Ende Oktober für 10 Tage zu Gast in diesem Haus sein. Zum Haus muss man nicht viel sagen, alles ist genau so, wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Küche, Wohnzimmer mit Indoorpool, 2 Schlafzimmer, 3 Bäder, Sonnenterrasse und Tiefgarage mit Platz für 1 Auto. Wir haben aber immer draußen vorm Tor geparkt, auch kein Problem. Das Haus ist noch recht neu und sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Umgebung ist ländlich und von daher auch sehr ruhig. Das einzige, was man nachts manchmal hört, sind Grillen, Hunde und Hähne. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und die Ruhe sehr genossen. Noch mehr als das Haus selbst ist die Gastfreundschaft der Vermieter hervorzuheben. Die Familie Toledo tut wirklich ALLES, damit sich ihre Gäste rundum wohlfühlen. Das fängt mit detaillierten Informationen zu Anreise und Treffpunkt an, geht weiter mit einem gut gefüllten Kühlschrank fürs Frühstück (Obst, Joghurt, Butter, Schinken, Käse, Toast, Getränke, Honig, Marmelade usw.), einer guten Flasche Wein als weiteres Willkommensgeschenk und einer sensationellen Betreuung via Whatsapp-Gruppe, wenn man es denn wünscht oder braucht. Papa Toledo wohnt nur 5 min entfernt und war sofort zur Stelle, als wir mal Probleme mit dem Warmwasser hatten. Er konnte das Problem innerhalb einer Stunde beheben und war später noch 2x da, um zu kontrollieren, dass die Anlage wirklich wieder reibungslos funktioniert. Als Entschädigung für das ja eigentlich gar nicht so große Problem wurden wir mit lokalem Wein, lokalem Honig für zu Hause und Keksen von der Insel La Gomera verwöhnt. Wirklich nett! Daneben gibt es von einem der Söhne tolle Tipps rund um die Insel, was man sehen sollte, wo man gut baden und gut essen gehen kann. Wir haben so einige Tipps in unsere Touren eingebaut und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Lage des Hauses ist eigentlich optimal. Westlich der wirklich sehenswerten Stadt La Laguna und des Anaga-Gebirges und der landschaftlich wunderschöne Norden der Insel ist auch nicht weit weg. Einziger Wermutstropfen in unserem Urlaub war das Wetter, da wir ziemlich viel Regen ertragen mussten und das Haus aufgrund seiner Höhenlage und seiner Nähe zum regenreichen Norden daher leider oft in einer Wolkensuppe lag. Aber wir hatten vermutlich einfach verdammt viel Pech mit diesem für Teneriffa untypischem Wetter, insofern können wir das Haus dennoch uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

UNA CASA ESPECTACULAR!

Hemos pasado cinco días de vacaciones en esta preciosa casa, y la verdad, hemos estado muy a gusto. Antes de nada, destacar la amabilidad de Adrian e Isabel, tanto ellos como el resto de su familia son un encanto, pendientes de solucionar cualquier duda que pudiéramos tener, y de informarnos de sitios que visitar, donde comer…por cierto, muy acertados! En cuanto a la casa, hay que verla, no le falta detalle! Es amplia, moderna, cómoda, decorada con un gusto exquisito, y con unas vistas impresionantes (Ay, esos desayunos en la terraza contemplando el mar, con la isla de Gran Canaria al fondo, y rodeados de bosques de pinos….!) Nos ha encantado la piscina, integrada en la casa, muy original; la sala de lectura en el piso superior, con una selección de libros, cd,s y películas...; la zona de chimenea del salón, la cocina, (también con vistas!) muy bonita y completa…se nota que los dueños han pensado en cada detalle para hacer que uno se sienta como en su propia casa, -tienes varios tipos de almohadas para elegir, los colchones, comodísimos, y nos gustó mucho el detalle de encontrarnos la nevera con una compra hecha para desayunos y aperitivos, así como productos básicos como aceite, vinagre, café, sal…para no tener que desplazarnos directamente al super-. La zona donde está ubicada la casa es muy tranquila, para disfrutar del relax y de la Naturaleza, ya que se encuentra en los límites del Parque Nacional del Teide, merece la pena detenerse en cualquier punto de la casa y ver pasar las nubes a toda velocidad, es todo un espectáculo...Sin duda, repetiremos!!.

traumhafter Urlaub in den Bergen

Die Lage: Die Fahrt zur Villa mit dem Mietwagen dauert ca. 45 min vom Flughafen Teneriffa Süd. Der Vermieter hat einen Tag zuvor eine WhatsApp-Gruppe eingerichtet und einen Treffpunkt an Pcan Tankstelle in La Esperanza ausgemacht. Das hat prima geklappt. Beim 1. Mal ist die Villa schlecht zu finden. Sie liegt in einem kleinem Ort auf dem Berg in ca. 900 m Höhe. Wundert Euch nicht über die Temperatur. Wenn es in TF Süd noch 29° sind, sind es hier oben nur 18°. Oft weht auch eine steife Briese, so dass es nicht möglich war auf der Terrasse zu frühstücken. Der Vermieter wusste schon, warum er den einen Indoorpool einbauen ließ. Der nahe gelegene Pinienwald (Naturschutzgebiet) lädt zu gemütlichen Wanderungen ein. Das Haus: Die Villa sieht auf den 1. Blick sehr modern aus, wenn man genauer hinsieht, ist es dann doch etwas spanisch. ;-) Alles in Allem ist sie aber sehr schön. Das Haus hat 3. Etagen. einen riesigen keller, der eigentlich nicht benutz wird, sich aber gut zum Abstellen der Koffer und sonstigem Material geeignet. Im Erdgeschoss ist die Küche, der Pool, das Wohnzimmer ein Schlafzimmer mit angeschlossenem Bad. Oben gibt es ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit Bad und eine Gästetoilette mit Badewanne. Die Bäder haben sonst nur eine Dusche, ein Bidet gibt es nicht. Der Aufenthalt: Wie schon erwähnt war die Begrüßung sehr herzlich. Als wir ankamen, war der Kühlschrank prope voll. Es fehlte wirklich an nichts. Die Küche ist auch super ausgestattet. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Es ist einfach alles da, selbst Tupperdosen für ein Lunchpaket. Fazit: Eine sehr schöne Villa. Wenn das Wetter mitspielt ist es hier herrlich und man hat einen super Blick auf die Berge und das Wasser. Der Blick wird nicht durch andere Häuser verstellt. Ringsum sind nur ein paar Grundstücke mit kleineren Häusern und Weinbauern. Bis zum Wasser braucht man mit dem Auto ca. 30 min, bis zum Wald ist es nur 1 km. Wir fanden den Wald besonders schön, da die Pinien sehr licht stehen und dadurch genug Sonne durchscheint. Außerdem ist man da auch vor dem Wind geschützt. Wer die Ruhe sucht und den Touristentrubel meiden möchte, ist hier genau richtig.

Sehr schöne Villa, sehr nette Vermieter

Das Haus ist sehr schön, liegt aber leider in einer Windschneise. Somit war das Frühstück auf der Terasse leider fast nie möglich. Der Kühlschrank war zur Begrüßung großzügig gefüllt, die Kommunikation war freundlich und schnell. Die Villa ist gemütlich und mit dem Innenpool auch bei kühleren Temperaturen ein angenehmer Aufenthaltsort.
