Apartment Reyezuelo is situated on the top floor of three floors and can be accessed by lift or stairs.

The double bedroom is bright and spacious with ample wardrobe space. The bathroom is fully tiled with a large walk in shower and double basin.

The kitchen is fully equipped and modern, with a large fridge freezer and microwave. Just off the kitchen is a utility room with a washing machine and sink.

The lounge is light and airy with a comfortable double sofa bed. There is also a smart dining area. British television is provided as well as wifi.

There is a bistro set on the balcony, which overlooks the pool and has mountain views.

My partner and I stayed in this lovely apartment in early September, doing our best to soak up a last bit of sun before the nights draw in. The accomodation was very competitively priced. That, coupled with the pretty cheap air fares, meant that the whole weekend was very affordable. We had a lovely weekend, walking along the promenade to Altea, up the mountain (not sure whether it was a hill or a mountain but it certainly felt like a mountain!), swimming in the good-sized apartment pool and eating the best paella we have ever had with the sea as our backdrop. For a cheap break in Spain, we couldn't have asked for anything better.

Albir is a pretty coastal resort nestled between the historic market town of Altea, and Benidorm, the party capital of the Costa Blanca coastline. Development in the area has been restricted so building height is limited. The atmosphere is relaxed with a cafe-culture feeling. There are in excess of sixty bars and restaurants catering for all culinary tastes, with prices to suit all budgets. Just a short leisurely walk from the apartment is Carrer El-Albir, the main eating and shopping in the town. Lined with restaurants, roadside cafes, delicatessens and coffee shops, the road leads down to the seafront where you will find a stunning pedestrian promenade lined with palm trees which runs the length of Albir up to Altea Marina. The shingle beach is blue flag standard and has a children's play area, sunbed hire, lifeguards etc. More restaurants and cafes overlook the promenade, where diners can enjoy stunning sea and coastal views and a warm, relaxed atmosphere.

This apartment helped make the holiday more enjoyable just perfect

Absolutely stunning apartment very comfortable, in a quiet location close to all amenities shops, bars, loved the Albir Arms just opposite food fantastic also great entertainment etc. There is everything that you need in the apartment a real home from home also the fact that when you arrive there is milk, juice and water in the fridge is great and was appreciated loved it

fantastic apartment in great location

first time to this apartment and Albir but not going to be the last, in fact already booked for next year. Everything was perfect for us - comfy bed, great balcony to sit out and enjoy breakfast overlooking pool with mountain views and glimpse of the sea, good English tv (watched royal wedding). Overall best self catering experience we have had. Location was also superb.

Everything was there that you needed

This was our first visit to Albir, and I don't think it will be our last, although next time we go we won't be going in August, as I felt it just too hot for me.

It is around a 15 min walk to the sea front, but a couple of times we did venture as far as this, we usually got a Taxi back, due more to the heat. The complex is very well kept, and gated, so felt safe also, we loved the walk in shower, and having British T.V. and another big plus is a large Supermarket just round the corner from the complex. Our only criticism we didn't find the bed very comfortable and also being just a standard double, we did struggle a bit with this, but everything else was great, all in all we had a very relaxing week, in a lovely apartment. I must also say everything was dealt with very professionally by Tracey, relaying information etc. We would certainly like to make a return visit.

From the moment we booked till we left, communication from the owner has been excellent and relevant. The property was easy to find thanks to clear instructions, was imaculately presented and well equipped. A special bonus was the poolside store and the sunloungers, as well as the various play equipment. The complex is small and quiet but located very close to a supermarket and great restaurants. Montys was great at the bottom of the hill, avoid the Dubliner unless you like fried stodge...on the beach front Noas is lovely for cocktails and no one should miss out on a visit to The Grill. Back to the property, great views from the terrace, air con was another great bonus, everything you need from a coolbag for the beach, to a wheelie shopping bag for the supermarket visits. It was lovely to have milk, water and juice on arrival. Thanks Tracy, we hope to come back in future.

Clean, modern and well equipped apartment in a lovely area

we stayed for 6 days to visit our in-laws staying in the same complex and I have to say our apartment (even though it was the same size and layout as theirs) was better equipped and positioned within the complex.

It's a smallish development, with security gates and felt very private with a great view from the balcony and perfect to sit out and soak up some morning sunshine with a coffee and a good book.

Wi-fi was a great little addition and even though there is freeview with loads of English channels available, I took my Firestick so we could watch movies and sport whenever we wanted at night.

There are absolutely loads of restaurants within a short walk and they cater from 'all you can eat' to tapas, bistro, Japanese, Chinese, Indian and quick eateries where you will be well looked after.

We walked to the beach front (approx. 15 mins) on numerous occasions and strolled along the front - the whole town is nice and clean and dotted between the bars and restaurants are lots of shops.. shoe shops and clothes shops were appreciated by my wife!

A longer walk (approx. 1 hour) along the front will take you to Altea which is a little quieter and again offers nice restaurants and bars to peruse - going up into Altea Old Town will give amazing views of the coast right around to the Benidorm skyline.

All in all i would highly recommend the apartment for a relaxing stay, with the option of taking a bus journey into Benidorm (€1.50) if you fancy a bit of a livener! Enjoy.

Albir is a very relaxed holiday resort, the climate is hot in summer and warm in winter. There are play parks on the blue flag shingle beach and a mini golf on the promenade. Also on the promenade are shops, cafes and restaurants. Nearby Benidorm has a beautiful golden sand beach.

Around and About

A must to visit is the beautiful old town of Altea with its narrow streets, church, and outdoor restaurants. Terra Míttca is approx 12 minutes by car and Aqualandia water park in Benidorm is approx 10 mins by car. La Marina is a large Shopping Mall about 20mins by car, all can be reached by bus. Buses to Benidorm and Altea are plentiful and costs €1.50 each way.

During the summer months, a small market of local craft and artwork trades at the upper end of the sea front where you can purchase original jewellery, leather goods and souvenirs. Albir has a wonderful market on a Sunday, Benidorm has market days on Sundays and Wednesdays, Altea market is Tuesdays and Alfaz Fridays.

Self Catering

The apartment is fully equipped if you wish to self-cater, with Albir having five large supermarkets (two within yards of the Font Rotja apartments), which are well stocked and reasonably priced.

Nightlife

With superb restaurants in abundance, you will be spoilt for choice as you stroll down to the beach and along the promenade

There are a number of hotels and bars in the resort offering evening entertainment with a variety of shows. Lively activities are also plentiful in surrounding, easily accessible resorts, such as Benidorm, which is just 3k away. Benidorm Palace is a popular night out with food and entertainment.
