The worst Homeaway property I have ever booked
I always look at previous reviews and grades of properties so it having checked this property thoroughly and translated reviews our arrival came as a real shock.
The property was really, really dirty.
The fridge was smelling terrible and kitchen hadn’t been cleaned in some time, the whole apartment smelt really bad. A very dirty sink in the kitchen and razor head in the unclean bathroom sink. A variety of hairs all over floors and thick dust on the coffee table. It was full of blue bottle flies. I had to return to the UK for another reason but my husband and daughter who remained in Corsica did not stay. They found alternative accommodation. When my husband complained about the condition of the place by email to the owners we didn’t hear back.
We lost a lot of money on a property that just shouldn’t be let in that condition. Having stayed all over the world that is saying something! I fully appreciate that apartments can have older furniture that may have seen better days and that isn’t a problem at all, but for a place to be so unclean is completely unacceptable.
