Petit slice of rural heaven!

We had a wonderful, but too short, stay at chateau de gaubert. The family are so warm and welcoming, we felt like old friends instantly. On arrival Georges had recommended made a restaurant reservation for us, he was on the money with his choice. Our room was very generous in size and fixtures. There was a little bit of a language barrier but I felt we got there in the end, lots of desole' and shoulder shrugging. They speak better English than I French! All in all I have nothing but good things to say about our time at the chateau, oh! by the way breakfast was very generous also.
