Quiet 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house in the old town with pool and parking

A completely refurbished stone built townhouse with a full tourist licence, 17 Calle Cifre is located in the old town of Pollensa on a quiet no-through road. On the ground floor there is a new kitchen/ dining area, a lounge with Smart TV, a bedroom and bathroom. The tiled pool area is accessed through french doors from the kitchen. The pool area has soft seating, sun loungers, and is planted with citrus, grape vines and other climbers. There is a gated area with private parking for 1 small car. The back of the house is South-west facing so receives full sun from 11am onwards. Upstairs are two bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms. The main bedroom opens out to a large terrace with soft seating and olive trees. The terrace is perfect for morning coffee or, in the evening, having a glass of wine as the sun sets over the mountains. The house has 300mb wifi and there is air-conditioning in all the bedrooms, and central heating. PLEASE NOTE that the house is not suitable for children under 12.

Ian and I live in Glasgow's city centre with our English Bull Terrier, Rosie. Ian is originally from Wales and I am from Charlottesville, Virginia in the States. We love going to Pollensa to get our cycling fix - not to mention some vitamin D!

Why Sasha Hagan chose Pollença District

Ian and I have had a love affair with Pollensa since we first visited in 2009. We decided to buy our first townhouse in 2010 and have enjoyed it so much (as have the folks who rent from us in the summer) that we decided to try our hand a second one - this one requiring full renovation. At last completed, the house is truly wonderful and gives us a great escape from the weather in Glasgow!

We chose this particular house because it's full of charm, is constructed according to a traditional layout (which means it stays naturally cool in summer), and has a lot more outside space than most stone built townhouses in the old part of Pollensa. We also found the neighbourhood tranquil and it had a particularly authentic feel to it.

What makes this house unique

17 Cifre has got it all. It's peaceful, the local kids play in the street. There's tons of sun and lovely mountain views. It has a a pool, lots of plants, brand-new everything on the inside, and a clean decor - but not the kind where you worry about where to set your cup down :) It also has private parking - a rare bird indeed in the old town. Our favourite part, however, are our lovely Mallorquin neighbours who, despite our rudimentary Spanish (and no Mallorqui) have made us feel welcome.

A taste of real Pollenca

We had a lovely stay at Sasha's home. It is in a perfect location in a quiet residential street, just walking distance into town. Air conditioned bedrooms were welcomed and the pool to dip into was great. The house is beautifully decorated and the only thing we would add is a Nespresso machine! We had some lovely meals in Pollenca - do try Clivia, but book ahead as it does get busy! Thanks Sasha, we would definately recommend your home. Sue & Dave

Wonderful home from home

After an early start and busy flight, we arrived at the house mid afternoon, hoping to find a clean, convenient house in which to spend the next two weeks. Calle Cifre was so much more than this! The house is stylish, immaculately presented and has every convenience we would need over the course of our holiday. The layout of the house is wonderful, enabling us to prepare lunch in the spacious kitchen and eat on the large terrace by the pool. The terrace benefis from sunshine all day long, making the shade canopy over the seating area very welome. The pool is large enough to accommodate two people at a time, and was wonderful in the searing heat of a Mallorcan August. Two large bedrooms are situated upstairs, with one leading to a beautiful terrace on which we enjoyed star gazing in the balmy summer evenings. Whilst there is a parking space, it does indeed fit a small sized car, and if the neighbours across the way use their parking space you may need to be inventive in your manoeuvering! Whilst we spent much of our time in the pool or enjoying the terrace, the interior of the house is equally lovely, and the air conditioning was very much appreciated. Being a 5 minute walk from the centre of Pollenca was great, but so was the peace and quiet of the area around the house, we particularly enjoyed the view of the hills from the upstairs terrace. We hope to return to Calle Cifre and would have no hesitation in recommending the house as a base from which to enjoy the beauty of Pollenca.

Fabulous holiday in Cifre!

In 2016 we were lucky enough to view the Cifre house just as it's renovations were complete. It is beautifully and attractively laid out both inside and out and we decided immediately to book it for a week in May 2017 and again for 2 weeks in July. We had a great time on both our visits - the open plan kitchen/dining room that opens out onto a shady patio was delightful, but by contrast the swimming pool was in the sun for most of the day. The upstairs verandah was another great sitting area with lovely views over the town and countryside. I can highly recommend this house - it's in easy walking distance to all the excellent bars and restaurants in Pollensa, the owners are extremely helpful - what more could you want!

Fantastic!

What a gem of a place!

We stayed for 2 weeks with our children and couldn't have wished for a better base for our trip. The house is in a fantastic location close to the centre of Pollensa, and the facilities were perfect. The kitchen was very well equipped and it was very useful to have a washing machine to use while we were away.

Looking forward to visiting again!

a peaceful oasis of perfection

A beautifully presented town house that managed to still be homely. it was made perfect by the clean and surprisingly decent sized pool for a townhouse and the two outdoor sunbathing areas. Stayed for a week with husband and two teenagers. Perfectly located for main square yet lovely and peaceful with gorgeous views of the mountains. Sasha the owner was very helpful and prompt with her responses. Would highly recommend if looking for a bolt hole in Pollensa old town.
