Lovely 2 weeks, enjoyed the new Garden Cottage, well done for all the hard work. A home from home. Hope to see you next year
What an idyllic location this is. Superb comfortable accommodation, spotlessly clean. Very well equipped. WiFi is not very strong but we knew this and it certainly didn’t spoil our stay. Owners very helpful especially to get us out with the heavy snowfalls experienced over the weekend. Highly recommended! We will definitely consider staying here again if available, possibly when the weather is warmer so we can enjoy more of the beautiful countryside.
Well equipped cosy and warm. Ideal base for exploring the area. Really nice lake alongside the cottage. looks like it is well stocked. Even I caught a few fish in March!!. Lovely welcome when we arrived. So quiet and peaceful. Weather for us was ok but can imagine it would be wonderful in the summer. Looking forward to a return trip.

Lovely cottage even in not so great weather. Lovely outlook. Private but not isolated. Good quality furnishings. Very comfortable bed. Modern clean kitchen with sufficient equipment to make self catering easy. Parking good though take care with potholes down access lane. Charming and helpful owner. 2 pubs in village very friendly & menus looked good though ran out of days eat there. 35 mins pretty drive to coastal path at Bolberry Down. Would love to stay here again in warm sunshine as beautiful setting. Useful Co Op in Modbury if driving through that area as didn't make it to Ivybridge this time.
The property was beautiful presented, clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. Would love to stay at Garden Cottage again but for longer next time.
Very pretty cottage and location, they thought of every thing, beautifully clean, i took towels and tea towels but didn't need them, Shame about the weather, but we still went out sightseeing, would definitely recommend it to my friends and family. Hope to go back next year :) x
Very pleased with the cottage and location. It was peaceful and in such pleasant surroundings, with the fishing lake straight off the garden. Whilst we don't fish, we are both keen photographers and spent a good time snapping the various insects and bird life around the lake - plus the fish that kept popping up to see us!
