Conveniently situated just off the A31 close to Wimborne, this peaceful place offers a haven of tranquility away from the pressures of life! A perfect get-away place for two......

It offers a beautifully appointed galley kitchen and modern shower room. There is private off road parking adjacent to the patio and entrance to the apartment.

An excellent choice of good pubs (The Lambs Green Inn within a 15 minute walk) & restaurants are close by in Wimborne, or more exotic fare at Sandbanks and Canford Cliffs.

This is an ideal spot to explore or discover the many coastal and countryside delights of Dorset.

People who have stayed here say the peaceful atmosphere is very relaxing and much appreciated.

About Deborah Masterman for Birch Haven

I was born in Sheffield and our family moved South when I was 7. After working in Africa, firstly in Ghana and later in Zambia for the United Nations, I returned to the UK. My passion for painting in oils enabled me to provide for my two sons and having the house built here was a dream come true! My other passion has been the creation of the garden here with the help of my lovely second husband.

Being on an elevated position, Candleford enjoys a South West facing aspect, surrounded by large trees and rural views. Being on the edge of Corfe Mullen, we are very much a rural location, which holds enormous appeal for me, and I hope for our guests too!

What makes this apartment unique

I created Birch Haven as a separate apartment for guests as I would like them to appreciate the peace and tranquility offered by this unique place. The garden furniture by the pond is a good place to have a glass of wine in the evening and see the goldfish. This is a great place to chill out and relax.

The garden was amazing and the view whilst laying in bed was just pure bliss.

The property was certainly tucked away but it certainly led to a beautiful quiet stay yet only a few minutes drive to all main travel routes. The property was spacious and comfortable. The shower was easy to operate and the beds were so comfortable two really important but often over looked aspects. There is nothing that would deter us from recommending this property plus we are definitely planning to return very soon.

All we had hoped for - a place to enjoy a few days in delightful surroundings, kind and considerate hosts, beautiful Dorset country and seaside nearby, in spacious, modern and well-appointed accommodation.

We hope to visit again.
