It is bounded by the Paseo de la Muralla, the walkway of the old Carolingian walls (s. IX) and the Middle Ages under (s. XIV and XV). Its monuments include the Call, the old Jewish Quarter, one of the best preserved in Spain; and the famous and colorful houses Oñar, built on the banks of the river and very close to the Cathedral, a magnificent single nave, which is the widest in the world in Gothic style.
