Shoreside is a coastal property with outstanding open views over the sea to the Lake District mountains. In the peaceful, pretty village of Powfoot, it is a recently refurbished, two storey, Victorian sandstone house. The master bedroom overlooking the sea has a luxury kingsize bed and a second bedroom has comfortable twin beds. A spacious family bathroom has a jacuzzi bath and shower. A fifth person can sleep on a sofa bed in the cosy sea-facing sitting room which has a woodburning stove. The house has a well equipped, modern kitchen/dining room. A decking area in the front garden takes advantage of the coastal scenery while, to the rear is a patio and small private garden. A substantial garage offers storage for outdoor and sports equipment. Well behaved dogs are welcome and offroad parking is available. TV, DVD, free wifi.

A fabulous home from home, just a stone's throw from the beach

We are a family of five, with three small children and found Shoreside to be a perfect base from which to enjoy our holiday in this beautiful part of the world. The house is cosy, well equipped, with comfy beds and amazing views across the Solway Firth.

It is comfortably furnished, thoughtfully and tastefully decorated, and we loved the little extra touches like the welcome pack and fresh cut flowers.

Great property, great location

The welcome pack from Carol was very much appreciated, the house had everything that we needed (and more!). Powfoot is such a wonderfully quiet location, but Annan is close enough to pop to for food etc if needed. Would definitely stay again.

Very nicely decorated and also very comfortable.

Spacious kitchen and cosy sitting room with log burning stove.

Excellent hotel which serves fantastic food just 5 minutes walk along the road.

Very enjoyable break. Excellent property real home from home. Great views from the house over the bay. Carol provided a much appreciated "welcome box". Can recommend the evening meals at the Powfoot Hotel.
