The Spires is a lovely first floor apartment situated in the town of Scarborough just twenty miles from Whitby, North Yorkshire. The apartment (freshly decorated for 2022) can sleep five people in two bedrooms, one double bedroom with Z-bed and en-suite shower and one twin bedroom as well as having a family bathroom. Also in the apartment is a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area. Outside is roadside parking with free permit. The Spires is a spacious apartment and a lovely base from which to explore this historic part of the country.

Excellent apartment

Apartment clean and fresh, my only problem was with the parking it was a good job that there was a council car park opposite that charged an amount which I had to use quite a few times. I imagine later in the season this car park would be full.

Nice stay

All in all its a good place to stay. As a family of five, it is still manageable. Only the Z-bed needs replacement. All other features of the flat are in good working order. Close to the town centre. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, but the owners have cards to help you. Only to find a place can be an issue at weekends and in the evening, when the people come home or head for the next pub. Only disadvantage noise wise is the bar next door. That is mainly noticeable in one of the two bedrooms. All in all, recommended.
