A wonderful holiday

Cosy and quiet flat, well furnished, a very friendly and helpful owner, excellent location for touring Dorset, visiting Stonehenge, Salisbury ..

We had wonderful breakfasts and dinners outside (photo).

Sunnydale Holiday Flat definitely ranks among the top three of our stays in England and Ireland.

A nice little flat

A nice little flat, which offers everything that a couple needs! The living room was nice, the bed was comfortable to sleep in, we cooked, we ate and washed the dishes! We saw some gorgeous places like Weymouth, Poole, the Sandbanks peninsula, Brownsea Island, etc..Would recommend, M&C

Perfect Base for a Busy Few Days

Sunnydale Holiday Flat provided the perfect base for exploring this beautiful area of Dorset.

A warm welcome from Ian and a generous "welcome pack" meant we could relax immediately.

The flat is ideal for a couple, it is cosy and comfortable inside and the patio area outside is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast or soak up the evening sunshine.

A boat trip to Brownsea Island was the highlight of our few days, visiting the island and it's Nature Reserve is a great way to spend an afternoon.

Corfe Castle (lovely cakes in the tea room) and the steam train journey to Swanage were also memorable.

There are wonderful walks in the area, far too numerous to make an easy choice, luckily Ian left us a book of the best "pub walks" to help us decide!

There is so much still to explore that a return visit to Sunnydale Holiday Flat is highly likely.

Property was nice but wasn’t able to enjoy patio area as weather was poor

Ian andLian were excellent hosts and Ian in particular was extremely helpful by providing information on local birdwatching. Lovely welcome pack even some flowers. Would stay with them again.

Excellent value and helpful owner

I booked fairly last minute for a weekend break with a friend. I selected the property largely on convenient location and price. We could easily access Purbeck for walks and a visit to Corfe but were also close to Poole. Was pleasantly surprised by thoughtful preparations for our stay by the owner. Communication with him has also been excellent. It was very good value to have the flexibility of our own space and use of the (very small) kitchenette for breakfast, sandwiches and simple meals Note there is no oven). The bedroom and sitting room were pleasant, clean and comfortable. Only slight inconvenience was that there was no bedding available for the sofa bed (fortunately my friend had packed a sleeping bag and pillow). Also, the shower was rather weak. Overall a convenient and excellent value stay with very helpful owner. Would recommend.

I asked when you arrived if you required anything please ask Aplogies but we were not aware beforehand that thevsofa was required Also note there was an oven as it is a combination oven/microwave Best regards Ian
