Ambleside has plenty to see and do, whilst nearby are Lake Windermere, where you can enjoy a ride on the Windermere Steamer, visit Lakeside with the Aquarium of the Lakes or William Wordsworth house. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome at an additional charge of £25.00.

Great Location
The property is located above a shop in the Main Street of Ambleside, which was great for exploring the Lake District. The property was spacious and was well equipped! Lots to do in the area of Ambleside and can walk to the lake which was about a mile down the road. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Property has great potential. Cleanliness disappointing and a couple of maintenance concerns.
Initial impressions, lovely flat in great location. Modern fittings and furnishings. Unfortunately we had to clean every room, the bath, kitchen utensils and equipment. (Didn't use microwave as couldn't face cleaning. Suggest this is taken up ASAP with whoever is responsible for preparing the property between guests. Also, nothing on boiler to indicate that it has ever been serviced, no certificate. Red call point for fire alarm system was smashed. Photos available if you require them.
