About this property

3 bedroom family villa overlooking the pool, 900m to the beach. This is a quiet family focused complex which is gated, safe and secure.

The American style kitchen has a microwave, oven and hob, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, washing machine, tea towels and plenty of crockery and cooking utensils. It is fully equipped to ensure you have a hassle free stay. The outside area has a table and two chairs to sit and relax in the morning.

The dining area has an extendable table with 4 chairs. The lounge area has a corner sofa to relax and unwind. This converts to a bed if needed. A TV and DVD player are available but it is NOT CONNECTED TO UK OR SPANISH television stations. You can watch DVDs or plug in a USB with films on. Air conditioning is also available. There is Wi-Fi throughout the property.

The main bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers and air-conditioning unit. This room has a door which leads to the balcony with a table and two chairs. A hairdryer is also supplied for guests' use. The bedroom has an en-suite bathroom.

The second bedroom has 2 single beds, bedside cabinet, fitted wardrobe and air-conditioning unit. Additional bedding and blankets can be found in wardrobes in bedroom 2. This bedroom has an en-suite shower room.

The third bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobe and air-conditioning unit. This bedroom has an en-suite shower room and French doors leading to the roof terrace.

There is a first floor balcony to the front of the house enabling full view of the pool area. There is also a large terrace, making it ideal for outdoor dining and enjoying the sun. The communal pool is directly in front of the patio gate and has a children's paddling pool connected at one end. There is a garden area to the right with a picnic table and parasols. There is ample room around to pool to sit down.

Please note: There is a late arrival charge of 10 euros after 9pm and 15 euros after midnight.

Laguna Sunrise Holiday in El Horizonte. 50km south of Alicante airport, 9km from Torrevieja and close to amenities such as the Citrus commercial centre, Playa Flamenca commercial centre, La Florida resort and walking distance to La Zenia Boulevard.

There are supermarkets nearby such as Supercor, Lidl and Mercadona.

The house is 900m from Platja Flamenca and Playa Cerrada which are both Blue flag beaches.

Nice property in a good location

Overall the property met our expectations. We did have a fault with the wifi but this was resolved quickly. Nichola the key holder was easy to contact and was very efficient on sorting oit the wifi issue. Overall i would certainly stay here again

great location

The key holder Nikki was always available and very helpful. Location was great and near all amenities. The pool right outside your terrace was fantastic, best one I have seen. The wifi signal was very good. I took my own Firestick for full English tv. Good large fridge/freezer. Beds were comfy. Yes the furniture is old, but as I read it is the owners grandparents. It did not spoil the enjoyment. Would I go again. Definately.

Property Not fit for purpose

This property is absolutely disgustingly filthy dirty and the property smells of mould, the cups and cutlery were dirty which isn’t the cleaners job apparently, I had to clean for two days to make this place liveable, then I had to pay a cleaning fee on departure what a joke they should have paid me the cleaning fee. everything from the stair case bannister to the terrace furniture is broken, the living room furniture is so dated and stained it needs skipped the light shades we’re thick with months and months of dirt and the sofa which hadn’t been moved for years had rotten food and sweet wrapper’s etc under it, and this is after the cleaner has cleaned apparently, the shower tray fills up with water and black mould when showering as it comes back up the plug hole, beds are cable tied together, lights not working and bare electrical cables exposed to the elements, Most importantly and which is a massive health risk is the Air-con units which potentially could cause Legionnaires disease if breathed in, as every single one of them were full of dust on the outside and thick with black mould on the inside, which the owner refused to have serviced during our stay, but instead only had the filters cleaned out. The Bed sheets had hairs on them and the towels had what looks like blood stains on them. The electric cuts out when it feels like it so you have to reset the trip switches, the water pressure is terrible and cuts out all the time when showering. The Tv was broken to which I made the owner aware of but she has since charged me the damage fee to replace it which I dispute. I would not Recommend anyone stay at this property as it needs a lot of money spent on it Then the owner had the cheek to blame covid on the condition of the property and not being able to have it deep cleaned. Now looking at the previous reviews from August and September this year lots of tenants complained about the same problems. MY ADVISE IS STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS PROPERTY 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Excellent location and facilities

A couple of issues that after contact with the owner I am sure will be sorted. Perfect location for the area and the pool outside the front door was amazing. Neighbour’s where all friendly and welcoming too.
