La Manga Club - Beautiful 2 bed 2 bath, central with views and sports rights.

A cool and spacious home from home, No 14 is one of 30 apartments in Las Palmeras, a small friendly development surrounded by well kept, peaceful, gardens all set around a large, beautiful pool. Las Palmeras is located centrally to the La Manga Club resort, making it an excellent alternative to Los Olivos.

This bright and airy upper apartment offers cool marble floors throughout, with fans, heating and air conditioning, cable TV and free wifi. There is plenty of parking directly outside, with a few steps leading up to the front door.

Our guests are entitled to resident discounts at the golf and tennis facilities, as well as reduced prices for the tennis, football, cricket and rugby academies that run during school holidays.

Both bedrooms have comfortable beds and ample storage and hanging space and can be made up as singles or superking doubles depending on your party. The master bedroom has a roomy marble-clad en suite, with bath, walk in shower, dual wash basins, toilet and bidet. French doors off the master bedroom lead to a sweet covered terrace. The second bathroom has a walk in shower, basin and toilet and is conveniently located next door to the second bedroom.

The kitchen is fully kitted out with a granite work top, oven/hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, toaster, kettle and even a Nutribullet for a healthy morning smoothie!

Stairs lead up to a cosy mezzanine level over the living room, with a leather sofa bed, bean bag, TV and XBOX 360 with a range of games. This is a perfect chill out area, which also provides a useful additional sleeping space. (as ceiling is low here it is best suited for accomodating a child/teenager)

A travel cot, high chair and lightweight buggy are available for our younger guests.

The living dining room has a corner sofa and recliner chair, flat screen TV with range of British TV stations and sports and movie channels, a Blue Ray /DVD Player and sound system. (an extensive DVD library is located in the wardrobe in the master suite for those rare rainy days) The extendable dining table can comfortably seat six. In the sideboard is a comprehensive range of board games and an ipod dock.

Large sliding glass doors lead onto a sunny barbecue terrace with spectacular views over the rooftops of the resort, the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean beyond.

Beside the front door, stairs lead up to a sunny private roof terrace with panoramic views over the hills.

The internationally renowned tennis centre, shops, bars and restaurants are just 5 minutes walk away, as is the Par 47 pitch & putt course, the Oasis pool, crazy golf and children’s club. A 10 minute walk in the other direction leads you to the buzzing bars and restaurants of Bellaluz square.

Within the club you can play golf at one of three championship golf courses, take tennis tuition at the tennis centre, visit the beautiful private beach ‘La Cala’ with its picturesque restaurant perched on the edge of the cliff, the various bars restaurant, casino and live music of The Principe Felipe Hotel, the luxurious spa at Las Lomas with spectacular views, an indoor pool and range of spa facilities and pampering treatments. There is a choice of more than 20 restaurants offering cuisine from around the world, banks, chemist, on site doctor, bars, boutiques, petrol station, two supermarkets. This is a safe resort with 24 hour security so ideal for families.

Outside the club there is a wealth of activities to tempt you just a short drive away, such as horse riding, diving, mountain biking, the sandy beaches of the Mar Menor, or the markets, beaches, local villages and towns. Contact the owner for more ideas for days out.

We have stayed in various properties over the years in La Manga club due to having a tennis mad son. When we were lucky enough to be in a position to purchase somewhere, No 14 immediately appealed as it is close to the tennis and the restaurants and other facilities, but far enough away to be peaceful, it has loads of space, and is high enough up to have beautiful views. The apartment has a lovely feel to it - instantly relaxing.

What makes this apartment unique

We never tire of the views of the Mar Menor and the sea beyond, and our son LOVES the cosy mezzanine level!

Lovely apartment a real home from home

Excellent apartment. Mezzanine level and wifi was particularly good for our kids aged 13 and 9. Pool very close by and never that busy even in high season.

A superb upstairs villa with lovely views over La Manga

Would thoroughly recommend this 2 bedroom villa with mezzanine with wonderful views from the balcony. Refurbished to a high standard and really well equipped. Easy walk to the Tennis Centre and to the shops. Easy to park as well. The owners have taken so much care in choosing the furnishings to make this apartment really stand out. Kitchen is better equipped than mine at home! So many places to go and eat out as well. Owners were so quick to respond and very efficient. Would highly recommend for a family of 4 - 5.

Beautiful,Immaculate Villa

Fantastic week-long family break in a beautiful, immaculate villa! The owners have considered everything you may need from DVDs, Books, XBOX games to complimentary toiletries....even a Nutrabullet and Nespresso machine!. Very well equipped kitchen with high quality white goods (all new and very efficient). It's obvious the owners have taken time to create an environment that their guests will enjoy. Good lord, even the ironing board cover was padded (you would struggle to get this in a 5 star hotel!). First time staying in the Las Palmeras community; it's really, really pretty and peaceful, yet literally a few minutes from the main tennis and shopping / dining areas, which suited us perfectly. The community pool area is one of the better maintained ones in our experience; twice during the week, the gardener was there trimming and tidying. The partial hill up to the villa is a little steep initially but is very short lived. Our Fiat Panda struggled a bit, but then again it was a Fiat Panda. Would have been faster on foot :) Hope to have the opportunity to stay in this villa again in the future. It was absolutely perfect - a real home from home!

Very nice apartment in convenient location

We had a very enjoyable stay in this apartment. It is well appointed and in good condition. The size was perfect for our family with two young children. The apartment is also well situated on the resort with nice views from the balcony. There is loads to do on in the area both on and off the resort. My only negative is that the activities on the resort are over priced but this is no fault of the apartment. Overall very positive and we hope to go back.
