Sleeps 8/10 (4 bedrooms/3 bathrooms) - Villa Cherie is a beautiful and elegant Mediterranean style holiday home infused with a hint of French chic and nestling in the pine covered hills of Mas Mestre.

The modern open-plan designed living space combined with a nice pool and large gardens make this an ideal choice for a family holiday in the sun.

Despite its peaceful and idyllic location, Villa Cherie is only a 12-minute drive through beautiful vineyards and mountains to the bustling seaside resort of Sitges, with its abundance of boutiques, cafes, bars, restaurants and miles of golden sandy beaches. In addition, the world-famous and cosmopolitan city of Barcelona is just 40 minutes away while numerous other world-class attractions are within an easy daytrip.

The villa borders the world-famous Penedes Cava producing area and there are unlimited opportunities for sports and activities such as mountain biking, hiking, tennis and numerous water sports, right on the doorstep.

ACCOMMODATION


Villa Cherie is an impeccably presented and fully equipped holiday home arranged over 2 floors as follows;

Entrance Level


The front door opens into a reception area with a featured curved wall. A corridor on the left leads to 3 of the 4 bedrooms and the family bathroom. At the end of this corridor is an A/C unit which can be used to cool the bedrooms at night if needed.

Straight ahead from the entrance is a delightfully bright and spacious open plan living area with stylish furnishings and high ceilings. The large windows and floor-to-ceiling glazed double doors flood the room with light and also provide direct access out to the gardens and pool area.

The lounge area is air-conditioned for guest comfort and is well furnished with large sofa, armchair, TV with international satellite and coffee table. The lounge also offers a library of books for guests to enjoy.

To one side of the open plan living area is the stylish and fully-equipped kitchen complete with a fridge Freezer, 5-ring induction cooker, expresso machine, built-in oven, microwave, dishwasher and a useful breakfast bar. The kitchen also has a convenient serving window that opens onto the outside terrace.

In front of the kitchen area is an attractive dining table that comfortably seats up to 8 guests. Near the dining table are double doors leading out to the terrace area and gardens.

Next to the entrance is a toilet with washbasin and access to a utility room where you will find a washing machine for guest use.

Top Floor

A curved feature staircase leads from the living area up to the top floor where the fully air-conditioned family suite is located. This fantastic room has a big and comfortable double bed as well as its own large and private terrace that overlooks the pool area and gardens. There is also an annex where two additional single beds are located.

The spacious and stylish bathroom is complete with a large bath, walk in shower, double washbasins, toilet and bidet.

Villa Cherie can comfortably sleep up to 10 guests in 4 bedrooms arranged as follows;

Bedrooms

Bedroom 1 – Twin bedroom with wardrobe.

Bedroom 2 – Double (blue) bedroom with wardrobe and windows overlooking the gardens & pool area.

Bedroom 3 – Double (pink) bedroom with wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Bedroom 4 – Family Suite with one King size bed & two singles, en-suite, A/C & large terrace.

Bathrooms


Bathroom 1 – Entrance level with toilet & washbasin.

Bathroom 2 – Entrance level with large walk in shower, toilet & washbasin.

Bathroom 3 – Upper level en-suite to bedroom 4 with large bath, walk in shower, bidet, toilet & double washbasin.

Pool and Terrace Area


Villa Cherie is set within 1,500 sqm of sun-drenched newly landscaped private gardens complete with a fantastic new 7m x 4m swimming pool as its centrepiece. There are large terraces either side of the pool surrounded by attractive lawns offering plenty of space for both sunbathing and al-fresco dining.

A delightful covered dining area is located just in front of the house and comes complete with a BBQ, a ceiling fan and a convenient serving window with direct access to the kitchen. This is the perfect space for enjoying al-fresco dining at any time of the day while enjoying the views or watching the children play in the pool.

On the other side of the pool is an additional terrace area that has beautiful views across the valley to the Garraf Natural Parc.

Villa Cherie is entered through large gates at street level and there is secure and shaded off-street parking for up to 3 cars at the villa. There is also unlimited and free on-street parking at the front of the villa and no parking permits are required.

OTHER INFORMATION


There is A/C in the Living area, by the bedrooms on the entrance level and in the master suite on the upper level.

TV has international chanels.

Hiring a car is essential in order to fully enjoy the local amenities and attractions. There are no shops within walking distance. The supermarkets, bars and restuarants of the local town Sant Pere De Ribes are an easy 5-minute drive away. There are also two good restaurants within a 2-minute drive.

Unfortunately, this Villa Cherie is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Wonderful family holiday in Villa Cherie

The Villa Cherie fully met our expectations or even more than that. It was an ideal frame for our family holiday - 6 adults an 3 children (12-8-2 years) . The house is beautiful and well furnished. Besides the outside area with the terrasse, barbeque, garden and the swimmingpool was unique.

The house was well-maintained, nice and clean, and the service team was helpful and secured a quick service, whenever needed.

We had two trips to Barcelona, another two to nearby beaches and enjoyed

our dinner on some of the nearby restaurants recommended, among others the Restaurant Carnivor which was indeed a fantastic experience.

We shall not hesitate to recommend the Villa Cherie to relatives and friends.
