HQ for 4-day pub crawl

We were quite pleased with the flat. An ideal location for our activities in Dublin. Nice view of the river. We really weren't in the flat except to sleep, so didn't make full use of the facilities. My wife did battle with the clothes washer/dryer, but she has that problem with any European machine of that sort. Don't know when we'll be in Dublin again, but we'll keep you in mind. Thank you. Great Location - Great Value!

  • 4 of 5

We had been to Dublin before and stayed in a hotel in Temple Bar. This time we decided to do an apartment and spent less, got more value. The unit was perfect size for our short stay in Dublin, five nights altogether. We had the expectation that a third person would join us but it ended up being just two of us in the 2-bedroom unit. The second bedroom became my dressing room. The rooms are small but plenty of closet space and the beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. Plenty of towels and linens too. We were pleased with the configuration of the unit overall.

The unit was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals. I appreciated the nice cutting board as we used it for charcuterie too. There is not a TV but we used our smart phones for watching Netflix, etc. But for the most part, we didn't miss it as we were out a lot. The wifi was strong and we didn't hear the neighbors in the building.

If you are familiar with Temple Bar, then you know it's the bar area of Dublin. This unit faces the Liffey River so we had a nice view out and facing that side, we didn't hear the bar noise from late-night party people bar crawling one block away. We chose TB because you can walk to soooo much from here from the restaurants and bars in TB, up to shopping on Grafton St. in 15 mins, Trinity College in 12 mins, St. Stephens Green in 15 mins, The Guinness Storehouse and Jameson Distillery in 20 mins. One block over from the apartment is a FABULOUS gourmet market with yummy cheeses, meats, wines, produce, pastries, and you can order food to be prepared while you wait, sit and enjoy it there or take it home. It was an unexpected awesome find.

The airport is 15 minutes away and there is a ton of public trans offerings, including the LUAS which is a tram that goes all over the county. We took it to Leopardstown to go racing and it was the best option. Uber is another easy option. You don't need a car in Dublin.

Shopping on Grafton is a delight and pricey but if you are looking for more affordable, there are two shopping centers within a 10-min walk on the other side of the river, and tons more bars and restaurants that are more local-oriented. O'Connell street and bridge are 10 minutes on foot.

Stephen from the management company was very nice and in communication with us from the week preceding our trip. He was quick to respond to emails and answer all questions, very helpful. You won't go wrong with this unit.

Nice apartment .. excellent location

  • 3 of 5

My family stayed at this apartment for two nights. Check in was hassle free and Stephen did his best to allow us to check in a bit early. Communication with Stephen was excellent.

The apartment was fine for our two night stay. It was clean and the location was perfect. It was walking distance to all major attractions in Dublin. We were a bit dissapointed that there was no television . The hot water was very difficult to use . It was also very noisy.

We had a wonderful visit in Dublin.

Great location. Comfortable apt.

Apt was as expected. Great location. A little noisy on weekends, but windows and doors were pretty airtight. Shower was a little challenging, but we got the hang of it.
