This charmingly restored cottage is set in its own private garden adjacent to the main house.

The cottage is 75m² all arranged on the ground floor as follows:

Enter into large lounge with dinning room area, inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove and double doors leading to terrace.

Through arch to fully fitted kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, electric oven and gas/electric hob, fridge/freezer, breakfast bar

Double bedroom (140cm x 190cm), 1 twin bedroom (2x 90cmx190cm) possibility of adding 1 extra single bed and /or cot.

Bathroom with bath/shower and WC.

The garden is enclosed by a high laurel hedge with parking and private swimming pool (7 metres x 4 metres), children's swings and
barbeque arranged amongst flower boarders, lawn and ample trees for shade.

Garden dining furniture and sun loungers are provided.

Un havre de paix....
Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Priscilla et Nigel. Une très belle petite maison, très bien restaurée, dans un cadre magnifique et calme. La maison est authentique et l'ensemble des prestations annoncées sont bien présentes. Très beau jardin parfaitement entretenu, avec une charmante piscine. Priscilla et Nigel ont été très attentifs à nos attentes/besoins (acceptation de nos 2 chats notamment). Un accueil et des échanges très sympathiques. Nous recommandons cette location aux amateurs d’authenticité, amoureux du calme et de la nature. Nathalie et Philippe

Why they chose this property

There are walks directly from the house though the orchards.Four miles down stream is Moissac a vibrant market town with ancient monastic roots, much of it, monastry, church and beautifull cloisters still remaining.The "canal de midi" passes thougth the centre providing an ideal walking/cycle route under the shade of the two hundred year old plane trees.



The surrounding area is considered the fruit bowl of France, being well irrigated by the majestic rivers of the Tarn, Garonne and Aveyron that in joining together just up stream of Moissac form 1000 acre lake that provides for all forms of water sports. Mimosa cottage is a charming cottage built in the 19th century from red Toulousain brick. We are in the heart of the countryside, very calm but just a short drive from the vibrant town of Moissac where there are all types of shops, bistros, restaurants, bars, chemists, hospital, banks etc Every Saturday and Sunday there is the local market with fresh fruit and vegetables, cheese, wine, fish etc.
