Inspiering and wonderful place to stay

The Grand Bastide is wonderful! A 1624 building, thoughtfully renovated and adapted to everything you need for a pleasant stay. No generic Ikea furniture, and a lots of eclectic artifacts and items. No two rooms are the same, and all of them are inviting. A place to enjoy your stay, and not just a place to spend the night between busy sightseeing days. We took our time spending with a drink at the pool, and outside barbecue dinner. The place is big, and it fulfills its potential 5 persons upwards. Perfect for families and friends. (We were between 7-11 guests , for 9 nights) Frederique , the owner was very communicative, and Pascale, welcomed us and was there for all our requests ( The place leaved no requests open..) Highly recommended while planing to see and stay in the beautiful Luberon area.

Belle propriété familiale

La bastide était à la hauteur de nos attentes avec son coin repas ombragé près de l’espace BBQ, son espace piscine pour les après-midi en alerte de chaleur . En une semaine, la Bastide nous a offert tout le charme et l’art de la vie en Provence. L’architecture de la Bastide et ses espaces nous a offert la quiétude du havre familial . Sa localisation nous a offert une proximité gustative avec la Bastide du Laval pour l’huile d’olive, le château de la Verrerie pour une découverte de vin de culture bio dynamique, et le marché de Lourmarin pour les saveurs locales. Elle est également proche du musée de la lavande pour la Provence olfactive sans compter les nombreuses ballade en garrigues pour y sentir le thym et le romarin. Je la conseille vivement pour qui veut goûter à l’intimité et le cœur de la Provence. 30 ans plus tard, venants de Compiègne, de Paris, d’Aix en Provence, de la Nouvelle Zélande et du Canada, nous y avons remémoré des souvenirs d’enfance. Merci milles fois à Frédérique pour ses communications, Pascale pour son accueil sur place et le jardinier pour sa disponibilité . Famille Gay

A wonderful, beautiful experience!

The bastide was charming, large, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The pool was refreshingly cool and the outdoor cooking area was great for early evening BBQs! My wife, family, friends and I all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would definitely return. Frédérique was highly communicative, responsive and extremely helpful throughout the duration of my stay, I highly recommend the Grande Bastide!
