Nice relaxing break

The location is excellent and the surrounding countryside is beauriful. We used the eurotunnel so its quite q srive to tye property but worth it. The amenities were as described qnd we used all of them all of the time. Once you gettoknow the area it is quite easy to pick up provisions. I would use again as it comfortably accommodates a group of 8 plus 2 dogs.

beautiful grounds and setting

This property was the perfect place for our big family get-together. The setting was so tranquil and pretty with plenty of activities to entertain the kids including table tennis, trampolining and even a bouncy castle! The pool was excellent. It was easy walking distance to Beauville on the hill, and the local Carrefour contact in Laroque-Timbaut had everything you need including a fantastic butcher. David, the owner, was extremely helpful and approachable and I would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely house in a beautiful, quiet area

I booked this house for a family group ranging in age from 6 to 70, and everyone had a fantastic time. The house is spacious, comfortable, pretty and well kept. The kitchen has everything needed to cook for 16 and the pool is clean and safe. The children also enjoyed table tennis and went fishing nearby. The owner was friendly and helpful. The views from the house are beautiful, and there are lots of villages nearby worth visiting.

La maison parfaite avec des enfants de tous âges

Nous avions 2 impératifs: trouver un logement qui soit intéressant pour des ados (2) et des petits (2) et surtout qui puisse les occuper en cas de mauvais temps (2ème quinzaine d Octobre). Bien que la région soit très belle et parfaite pour le vélo, la marche, le footing nos enfants demandaient régulièrement des journées « libres » , c est à dire sans excursion pour pouvoir profiter pleinement des équipements de la maison. Nous avons passé des heures ensemble à jouer au handball, football, billard, basket et à la pétanque. Peu importe la météo avec cette grange parfaitement aménagée pour tous les âges. Le jacuzzi pour se détendre après les efforts : génial ! Notre hôte était toujours disponible en cas de besoin et nous a même préparé un apéritif mémorable où nous avons découvert grâce à ses anecdotes non seulement les produits régionaux mais également la culture et l histoire locale. Charmant et passionnant ! Pour ne pas oublier la maison en elle-même : spacieuse, rénovée avec goût et avec une vue grandiose sur le vallon et la bastide de Beauville. Sans aucun doute notre meilleur séjour des 10 dernières années.
