Nice apartment rented with the spirit of sharing with the guests something beautiful and to allow them to savor the beauty of the valley. Argentière / Chamonix each season always offers a different point of view.

It si located on the second floor of a Residence of Tourism 4 star sight the Argentiere glacier and Mont Blanc, in a central location of Argentière (7 km above Chamonix) close to all amenities such as ski-lift (300 mt), high and medium altitude footpaths, mountain bike trails, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, bus and train.

The residence is equipped with indoor heated swimming pool (open in the winter and summer) with sun terrace view Mont Blanc. The apartment, with private sauna, consists of an entrance hall, lounge (single sofa-bed) with kitchen, a bedroom with double bed, cabin with bunk beds and balcony with chairs and table.
Other comforts that are offered are: hairdryer, satellite TV with international channels, WiFi internet (free for a period of at least one week), private covered parking and personal ski locker. The bedding up to 4 persons is included in the price of at least one week.


The cot and high chair for the baby are available as extra on demand, whereas coins for the washing machine are sold at the reception.

Mis-advertised and disappointing.
Young family, stayed here for 1 week. Positives: The underground parking is good because the car fits with a roofbox on the roof. You can walk (10 minutes) to the Grands Montets lift. Negatives: We booked because it had a lovely looking swimming pool for our kids and the listing advertised it as an amenity. We were shocked when just before arrival we were informed (along with the self check-in instructions) that the pool would be unavailable. Turns out it hasn't been available since covid, and will be unavailable for a long time, yet the place continued to be advertised with a pool. The owner is unapologetic when I asked about this, simply writing “I'm sure you will appreciate your holiday”. Also listed as amenities are an oven and stereo, neither of which are present. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable and you have to make them up yourself on arrival and the sheets and duvet covers didn’t fit well. The area outside is quiet at night, however we heard dogs barking relentlessly for hours and hours on several evenings from an adjacent apartment. The place doesn't look at all as good as in the photos. We wanted move but Vrbo help was painfully slow. Their assistance was too little, too late. We aren’t the type of people to complain, but were really disappointed with our weeks accommodation and certainly would never return. Last year we had a similar place but in the centre of Chamonix, and with an extra bathroom and a lovely pool for less money than we paid here.

Great position, nice apartment block
Good sized apartment for family of 4. Underground secure parking a really good which meant we could keep all ski gear in the car. Argentiere is very nice, in fact nicer than Chamonix Centre where we stayed last year. The Troll bar (100m from the apartment) offers happy hour between 4 and 6pm, the local super market is well stocked and reasonably priced. Le Stone is a fantastic pizza restaurant, by far the best in the valley and again priced well, family of 4 with some deserts came to 60 euros, would have been double in Chamonix centre and not as good. The host, Albero, was very helpful and provided lots of information.

Argentiere ski trip
Rented appartment for 4 days for 2 adults & 2 teenage kids. Position good. Close to bars & restaurants. Facilities excellant. Ski locker, covered secure parking, heated pool. Apartment was sufficient size for 4 people. Clean & tidy with everything that we needed. Would stay there again.

Perfect.
For us a perfect apartment in a perfect location, with the bonus of excellent weather! The apartment itself is exactly as described with all the amenities we needed in a very comfortable and pleasant setting.The apartment was warm and comfortable and attractive. We were always happy to return after a day in the mountains. The apartment is also located in a very beautiful 'hotel' which is ideally situated for most needs. Bus stops in both directions were right outside the 'hotel' and the train station just across the road. A few minutes walk and we were at the Grand Montets cable car. Various walks including the forest walk into Chamonix actually start from just behind the residence. Argentiere itself is an attractive village and has good amenities including a very useful supermarket. We had good communications with the owner throughout. A highly recommended place to stay.
