Mountain hideaway
A gem of a cottage with a log fire which we needed in the first few days. Fully equipped for all eventualities which was a good insurance policy as the cottage is isolated. A great find and perfect for a couple wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Just beautiful!
The old farmhouse is situated nearly at the end of the road at the end of the valley surrounded by forests and alpine meadows under the peaks of the Spanish boarder. The views are breath-taking and the area has endless wonderful walks. The lovingly renovated farmhouse is quite compact and has three floors, with a bedroom and en-suite bathroom on the ground floor, sitting room and kitchen on the middle floor (with access out the backdoor onto the terrace) and another bedroom and bathroom on the top floor. The garden is lovely, with amazing views and the sound of the stream rushing down the mountain. Luentein is actually a hamlet, with a number of houses arranged higgledy piggledy on a steep slope. Erick lives slightly below, and is in the process of renovating the farmhouse above. We absolutely adored our stay here, and the terrace was a perfect place to sit with a glass of wine and a barbeque at the end of long day walking and rest our tired legs and listen to the birds and of course keep an eye out for bears!

Beautiful and quiet place in the mountains
We enjoyed our stay during summer time in this beautiful house very much and could have stayed there much longer. The house is situated in a very small village with a few houses only so it's quiet and the perfect place to ly on deckchairs in the garden, watch the mountains and clouds going by and listen to the small waterfall which is not far away from the house. The owners are very sympathic and invested a lot of work in carefully renovating the house and preserving it's original style. The inside with it's two bedrooms and the big open (well equipped) kitchen/livingroom with access to a nice terrace and garden is perfect for four people and you can never stop to watch and explore all the nice detail inside the house. We could imagine how cosy the living room would also be in winter time with a fire burning in the fire place. It's just a perfect place to rleax, enjoy the mountain views and explore the area around with lots of hikes possible, easy and longer ones that require some good physical conditions alike but offer beautiful views on the high mountains on the border to Spain which is close by. Our kids also enjoyed hours of horse back riding through the mountains that a local stable offers in nearby Sentein. Thank you for this beautiful place and we surely would like to come again!
