Beautiful villa in gated complex, 2 spacious bedrooms with en-suites

Located one mile north of Holetown, opposite the Royal Pavilion Hotel, on the popular West Coast and close to glorious beaches (200m) and within easy reach of a wide selection of shops, bars and fine restaurants. 5 Porters Court is a luxury 2 bedroom with en-suite bathroom villa with wrap around veranda, spacious open plan living area, well equipped fitted kitchen and private car parking adjacent to the villa. The charming villa is built in traditional chattel house design with high pickled pine ceilings. The living area has two sets of French doors opening onto a wrap around veranda (with BBQ) for outside dining and relaxing. The villa is air conditioned throughout.

Porters Court is an exclusive secluded gated development of 8 luxury villas with a communal swimming pool and patio area with sun loungers and umbrellas. The villas are set within beautiful well-maintained tropical gardens. No. 5 has a great location right by the pool.

The villa comes with membership of the exclusive Fairmont Royal Pavilion Beach Club, a five minute walk from the property. This gives guests free access to sun beds and umbrellas and use of the beach bar and water sports facilities at your own expense. The famous Lonestar restaurant is also about a 5 minute walk as are two great beach bars.

Our housekeeper will visit two full days per week. We provide all guests with a complimentary welcome grocery pack of tea, coffee, orange juice, milk, eggs, bread, butter, fruit, beer and wine so you can relax immediately and enjoy your holiday. Our on-island property manager is always available to help. We can also arrange airport transfers and organise car hire.

Why Mrs Tracy Palmer chose Porters

We fell in love with Porters Court because of the charm of the villa which is built in the traditional chattel house style with wooden floors and high pickled wood ceilings. We also enjoy being very close to the Lonestar restaurant and JuJu's beach bar, two of our favourite places for sunset drinks on the beach!

What makes this villa unique

The location is perfect and just across the road from the Fairmont Royal Pavilion where we enjoy the beach club. It is very easy to get around as the bus stops are just outside the gate and US$ 1 will take you anywhere on the island. Although we have such a convenient location there is no road noise at the villa.

A car is not necessary as there is a frequent bus service just outside our gates and taxis are readily available. However, if you wish to explore the island you may wish to hire a car for a few days. Maid service is provided Mondays and Thursdays including day of arrival and departure. The villa is privately owned but has a full time local property manager for additional assistance. We have a Bose speaker in the villa which you can connect to via the internet. All linens provided including beach towels.

Holiday of a live time.

We have recently returned from a two week holiday staying in the villa 5 Porters Court.

The villa is spacious and very tastefully decorated. It has a great outside space for dining and barbecuing. The swimming pool is clean and quiet during our stay. The grounds are very pretty and well maintained. The location of the villa is fabulous just a five minute walk to the beach, access passes are included during your stay for sun beds and beach bar.

Tracy the owner was particularly helpful during the booking experience and provides a lot of information at the villa to maximise your stay.

Barbados was a fantastic place to holiday, we will definitely return and we will definitely stay at Tracy’s villa again.

Fabulous location in a lovely villa.

Villa was well appointed with an equipped kitchen meaning we could self cater when required; lovely furnishings in the lounge and bedrooms; and a cosy outdoor dining area where we ate all our meals.

The beach was a short walk away where we had access to the Beach Club, meaning we never had to fight over sun beds! The stretch of beach at Alleyne’s Bay was beautiful and calm, with a choice of water sports and restaurants, or just for swimming in the gorgeous sea. Buses to Holetown were right on our doorstep and quite an experience, with a large supermarket in Holetown. Overall a fantastic villa and we would definitely return.

AWESOME Villa in Porters!!!!

So glad to have found this great Villa in the Holetown area! First off, Tracy the owner was the best... very easy to deal with and prompt in answering any questions we had about the Villa and area it was in! The Villa itself was perfect and exactly as described in the ad. It is far enough from the main road that there is no noise and yet only a few minute walk to the Fairmont Hotel beach which we were able to access with the Beach Club cards Tracy provided. The area was great and if we wanted to go anywhere, the public bus system in Barbados is the answer... very cheap, safe and the bus stops in both directions were only steps away. The Villa itself has to be in the best location in the complex as the front door has pool access. The covered veranda is the perfect place to eat, drink and visit at, very relaxing plus if a rain shower comes along you can still sit outside and enjoy the warm air. Inside the Villa has everything one needs to prep and cook a meal if so wanted. It is tastefully decorated and the 2 air conditioned bedroom ensuites offer quiet, comfortable sleeping arrangements! Veronica, the cleaning lady with the biggest smile ever, met us there when we arrived and provided us with all the information we needed! She was great and such a pleasure to see during our stay. Overall, our trip was awesome and this was due to the Villa, it's location and the people associated with it. Great work Tracy!!! We will be back... Thanks again for everything

Great Location, just perfect!

Tracy is simply a great host. From the start she replied very quick and was all confirmed in a matter of hours. We received all the information about the property and detailed information for directions (very easy to find).

The place is in a great location, short walk (5mins very tops) from Lonestar and the beach (near Santi and JuJu's). and only short bus ride to holetown or Mullins.

When we arrived we liked how secure the villa was, in a gated community with about 6 other villas. The property itself was very secure and very clean. The cleaner was great and very nice, and all amenities in the house were perfect, modern and very clean.

The apartment is perfect for sharing with both bedrooms have their own bathroom, both rooms/bathrooms a very good size.

One of the features of this villa is the swimming pool. great for cooling down from the beautiful sun. It is shared with the other villas but was really our own as no one else used it.

Would definitely recommend this place, and will be using again in the future :)

The only place to stay in Barbados

We had a fantastic experience staying at 5 Porter’s Court. The villa itself is spacious, very well equipped and kept to a wonderful standard of cleanliness by Veronica during our stay. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and the air conditioning system throughout the villa was excellent. Another welcome feature was being able to use the veranda for dinner in the evenings regardless of weather, which is surrounded by beautiful plants which allows you to feel secluded. There is also an easy to use BBQ which was fantastic for dinner if you don’t feel like venturing into town.

The pool area is kept very clean and with ample sunbeds and umbrellas which move around so you can keep out of the sun if you need to. It was wonderful to have this just outside the villa for relaxing days after morning excursions as it’s literally steps from your front door.

The location couldn’t be better for going outs as it is less than 5 minutes to the beach and there is a bus stop located just outside the back gate on both sides of the road which takes you into Holetown in less than 10 minutes where there are a wide range of restaurants, bars and amenities. Alternatively, in the other direction you can take the bus a few minutes down to Mullins Bay and Speightstown which has a more local feel. We also hired a car and there was a very accessible parking space which is also highly secure within the gated collection of villas, this allowed us to go and explore other areas of the island which we found in the very informative guest book.

The location is made even better by the inclusion of the Beach Club membership in our stay. Not only does this grant you access to the members only area of the beach but also includes complimentary sunbeds and access to the facilities at the Royal Pavilion hotel. This also entitles you to discount if you go for breakfast inside the main complex which was absolutely delicious and in a wonderful location on the Alleyne’s Bay beachfront.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay in Porters Court and cannot recommend it highly enough if you are looking for a place to stay in Barbados.
