Great base for exploring the Bagnes region
Spacious living/ kitchen area with lovely view across the valley. Outdoor area very pleasant with dining and relaxed seating area. Kitchen extremely well appointed and equipped with every cooking utensil you would ever need! The supply of basic staples such as herbs and spices was very welcome. The property was very clean and well presented. Visiting in August, we were able to have the Verbier tourist card, on registration at the tourist office. This allowed for free use of the cable cars.
For our party, the shower was a little low and the bathroom rather compact. We would also have liked some seats on the balcony rather than having to carry the dining room chairs out each day. The house information was basic: meaning we had to explore the whole building before finding the shared washing machine in the basement. There was no explanation about rubbish disposal and the official bin liners were not provided: they needed to be purchased from a shop, something non Swiss visitors are not necessarily aware of. As a family, we would have preferred the second bedroom to have had a proper bed and not a bed settee. These are minor quibbles, which could be easily be resolved.
