Peaceful Provence
Like all reviews before us we give this property full marks. The lovely Chantal has a beautiful home in the hills of Provence and the part we used was about the size of a large mobile home. We were a couple and felt we had ample room with all modern comforts; a beautiful bathroom; super comfortable large double bed; very compact but efficient kitchen/diner and a comfortable sofa (bed/settee) We had our own little terrace with barbecue on which we ate most of our meals. If you considered this property for a small family (using the bed/settee) it would be manageable. If you were thinking of using it for two couples, you would be pressed for clothes storage and the fact that the couple in the kitchen/diner would have to go through the double bedroom to get to the bathroom. The pool is super with a brilliant non-slip surface and there are plenty of parasols and sun beds. Though the area around the pool is not quite finished there is a new toilet for use of patrons and a fridge/freezer in which to store ones drinks, both very useful and saving you the need to return to your apartment for either matter. Above all, this location is QUIET! It is just outside Entrecasteaux but within easy reach of the village centre. Warning! Take plenty of mosquito repellent! Up in the pine trees they are profuse and start biting early n the evening. In short, a lovely location and we had a super holiday in this beautiful region of France. Thank you Chantal.
