Delightful
This property far exceeded our expectations and we had an absolutely lovely stay. It is a charming and authentic apartment which provides an opportunity to live comfortably like a local in this beautiful city. The owners, The Pinzautis, have obviously worked really hard to ensure that their guests are well looked after and comfortable, with generous and tasteful attention on the detail of the decor and facilities. Our arrival was unavoidably delayed due to flight problems and they could not have been more forgiving and welcoming, waiting up to greet us personally and ensure we were safe. This was much appreciated and turned our travel experience around. The apartment itself has a lot of beautiful historic features, and is secure and quiet inside. The decor is very pretty and has lots of extra detail which make it feel like a home. The beds are extremely comfortable, with soft bedding, meaning we had great nights sleep. Despite staying in very hot weather, the air conditioning perfectly balanced the temperature without effort. The kitchen is well equipped and our little arrival care package was a lovely touch which meant a lot and made our first day much easier. The apartment is well situated, just a short (15 min) walk away from of the Ponte Vecchio. There’s a small supermarket and a bakery very close, and city parking a couple of streets away. We would return in a heartbeat and strongly recommend. It’s a delightful and romantic place for a couple to stay, and for travellers, like us, with children, it’s a convenient and great place to stay. We have excellent memories of our stay in Florence, and this apartment is a delightful element.
