The Magrana is a charming house in the city of Girona you can enjoy the tranquility of the area where it is located, with private pool and gardens while it is also just minutes from the old town. The Magrana is a very charming house in the quiet residential area of Montjuïch city of Girona with views ranging from the Catalan Pyrenees on the horizon to the green lung of the city, a grove of bananas, called Parc de la Devesa de Girona and historic Girona Cathedral and Church of San Felix erected in the old town.
bright, airy house has five spacious bedrooms and five bathrooms for up to fourteen people, perfectly accommodated to enjoy a rewarding and relaxing stay. The kitchen is equipped with all appliances and fixtures necessary for this purpose. It also has dining table for fourteen diners next to the living room where you can enjoy a reading area or enjoy a warm space with large sofa next to the fireplace and the TV. All this in light of the interior garden of tropical plants in the house that brings serenity and relaxation stay.

The excellent location of the house invites you to enjoy from a walk to the old town for a nice walk through the quiet urbanization Montjuïch.
The Magrana, is forty minutes from the Costa Brava and an hour from the city of Barcelona. It has good connection with bus to downtown.

Free parking in front of the house, there is always space available. To move is advisable to take the bus (with a frequency of every 15 minutes) but also can take a pleasant walk to the center.

Spacious and comfortable house

The owner made us very welcome and kept in touch before, during and at the rnd of the stay. The house is spacious, clean and caters for larger groups very well. Location is just 15 min walk from the cathederal and all if the bars. Pool was great, given the july temperatures. Supermarket is a few hundred yards away too Highly recommended.

Amazing views with perfect views

Amazing villa with so much space and stunning views over Girona. Great for a group. 4 doubles and 1 bunk and single Owner went above and beyond and was the most pleasant and helpful owner I have had the pleasure of knowing Can't recommend this place enough

A Great Week

The house is tucked on the hillside of Montjuic with a view of the whole valley and a glimpse of the Cathedral. A bit difficult to find on the first time so pay attention to Lluis's directions. The (not large) pool was perfect. Lluis was very helpful, accomodating and friendly and we managed to sort out a few little problems like missing dishes etc. There should be more towels and the pillows (Ikea) were tiny and very soft. We were 5 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of room and privacy and our stay was very enjoyable. A lovely place in an alomst rural setting - but there are a couple of large supermarkets nearby - especially the Carrefour. The walk downhill into town is really nice and takes you right to the Cathedral and beyond. Going back we took taxies which are easy to find near Independence square. Lluis had good suggestions and directions - thank you, Lluis! On the whole we had a very good week at La Magrana.

Perfect Holidays

Check in was very smooth. Considering that we was changing arrival time few times, property owner Liuis was waiting us. Property owner really nice and friendly guy. Provide us lot of information about restorans, bars, beaches ant other nice places and activities around property. House perfect with beauty view to Girona center. Warm and always clean swimming pool. Barbecue are and other stuff. So thanks for Liuis for hospitality.
