TIDES REACH sits in the valley at Trebarwith Strand - not quite as close as the tide reaches but only about 200 yards away.

The property is light and cosy and will accommodate 4 people in two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin singles.

Downstairs is an open-planned lounge (with wood burning stove), sun lounge and dining area, leading on to a pretty balcony with sea views. The small but well-equipped kitchen is off this room, it has an electric range cooker, large fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. A small utility area has a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

There is a downstairs shower room with WC and also a bathroom upstairs with bath and WC.

The former artist's studio at the front of the property has been converted to provide an additional sleeping area for another 4 people with double bed, double sofa bed and en-suite shower room with WC and basin.

The main house will accommodate up to 8 people in the lounge and dining areas but it should be stressed that it is not suitable for 8 adults, a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children would be comfortable.

Outside there is a sunny, secluded patio area with garden furniture.

There is room to park 2 cars in the drive.

Night storage heaters and convector heaters.

Please provide your own logs etc. for the wood burner. Easily available locally in small quantities.

Bed linen supplied.

Up to 2 dogs welcome at no extra charge. Please restrict dogs to outdoors and the main house if possible please.

TV with free Sky channels plus BT Sport.

DVD and CD players.

Broadband internet connection available.

Phone available.

Electricity included.

No smoking indoors please.

TREBARWITH STRAND AND TINTAGEL

Tintagel is a small holiday town famous for King Arthur’s castle and offers much in the way of historic interest. There are several shops here and many pubs and cafes offering a good selection of places to eat out. And of course the Old Post Office which is a fascinating glimpse into a past way of life.

Tides Reach is situated in the small village of Trebarwith Strand about 3 miles from Tintagel by road and connected by the coastal path, which surrounds Cornwall. The coast path is easily accessible offering lovely walks with beautiful cliff scenery. Trebarwith is a valley with one road leading to a sandy beach. There are two car parks making this beach easy to get to. At high tide, the beach is completely covered ensuring up to a mile of clean sand at low tide. There are two pubs in Trebarwith both offering good meals. The Port William overlooks the bay and the Mill House is set in a wooded valley.

There are several good sandy beaches within easy driving distance, Daymer Bay, Polzeath, Bude and Widemouth Bay to name but a few. Boscastle and Port Isaac offer fishing and sailing trips. Excellent golf facilities exist in nearby Camelford, Rock and Launceston. Cycle along the Camel Trail (cycle hire available in Wadebridge and Padstow). Visit the wonderful Eden Project, about 45 minutes by road. There are a host of tourist attractions all within easy reach for days out from Lands End to West Devon, and Bodmin Moor is only five miles away.

Art lovers will enjoy the many local craft centres and the Tate Gallery at St. Ives.

History addicts will run out of time before exploring all the churches and museums.

Literature fans can enjoy finding out about Thomas Hardy’s and Daphne du Maurier’s links with this part of the country.

PAYMENT MAY BE MADE BY CHEQUE (if booking is more than 6 weeks before start of holiday), DEBIT CARD, CREDIT CARD OR BANK TRANSFER TO UK ACCOUNT. YOU WILL NOT BE ASKED TO PAY IN ANY OTHER WAY. CREDIT CARDS INCUR A CHARGE OF 3.5% TO COVER BANK FEES. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYMENT BY AMERICAN EXPRESS OR DINERS CLUB CARDS.

Cancellations by visitor - we urge guests to take a cancellation insurance policy. Cancellations must be notified in writing (email is acceptable). Payments already made by the guest will only be refunded if the dates can be relet. You are still liable to pay the balance due at the date required even if you cancel beforehand. We reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £20 for each refund made.
