Comprising of a spacious living room with garden access to the left of the hallway, a generous kitchen diner for six with utility room and sun room/conservatory to the right of the hallway and a useful cloakroom WC; the ground floor layout is effortlessly practical for family stays.

The river views to both front rooms provide a serene setting for relaxing and entertaining throughout the day. The fireplace in the sitting room offers the perfect ambience after enjoying a bracing river walk in the colder months; whilst the sunny terrace (reachable from both sides of the house) offers a relaxed flow for summertime entertaining.

The high-quality modern family kitchen easily enables budding chefs to have some fun, whilst the country-style indoor dining area for 6 is complemented by a sunny outdoor dining area.

Golf:

Teignmouth Golf Club is justifiably proud of its heritage. The course was designed by the legendary Dr Alister MacKenzie and opened in 1924, some 9 years before he completed his most famous work at the Augusta National, home of the US Masters.

Teignmouth’s course is situated near to the South Devon coast and, at 800 feet above sea level, it commands spectacular views of the sea and nearby moors.

The 18 hole moorland links presents a great test of golf for players of all abilities. Features include six varied and challenging par 3s and no fewer than 11 two-tier greens, a true MacKenzie trademark.

Shaldon Approach Golf is considered one of the best approach courses in the South West, with breathtaking views of Teignmouth and the Teign Estuary. Shaldon has hole distances of 60 - 120 yds ( 7 holes over 100 yds).

The course is open daily from 10.00 am Mon - Fri and 9.00 am Sat & Sun. Closing time is generally around dusk.

Clubs are available for hire from the Attendants Hut at Shaldon, which is located next to the upper car park at the Ness. .There is no specific dress code for the course and golf shoes do not need to be worn.
