Lounge/Dining room with air con,ceiling fan, reclining leather sofa, Smart internet TV with full Sky package, Dining table for four people.

Balcony with table and 4 cushioned chairs, perfect for breakfast in the sun or a late sangria over looking the peaceful square.

Open plan fitted kitchen with breakfast bar, water filter tap, kettle, coffee machine and large fridge/freezer.

Utility room, housing a washing machine, vacuum cleaner, washing line.

2 double bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, ceiling fans, air con and a safe in each room.

Large family bathroom, with both bath and shower facilities and a wall mounted heater for the colder months.

Large private solarium, with mountain views and all day sun. Provided are two reclining sun loungers, table with 4 chairs.

Linen, bath towels and beach towels will be provided, so you can pack light.

Property great, but disappointing resolution of boiler issue during stay.

Have stayed in Formentera del Segura many times, however, first time using this website and going to this apartment. When we arrived we were advised by Key Holder that boiler wasn’t working, so no hot water which also meant no hot shower. Key Holder advised he had contacted owners and that a plumber had been arranged to look at it. I contacted Key holder at 7pm to ask if plumber had sorted it, to be advised he wasn’t coming until the following day. Advised the following day he wasn’t coming until 4pm, then advised they would need to fit a new boiler the next day. 2pm the next day I again contacted Key Holder to see if it had been replaced - no response until the following day at 6.30, still no new boiler by the time we left and more importantly, no contact/apology by the owner to myself at all during this time or as yet.

We had to use the kettle to boil hot water to get washed for the whole of our stay-not what you expect to have to do in this day and age. I understand these things happen, but it should have been

remedied and followed through - after all, these are basics that need to be prepared for when you let a property- hot water is an essential. A call, text, email from the owner would also have been a sign of good customer service. This I suppose is the risk you take when booking through these websites, first time I’ve used and would be very dubious about using again. I should say that the Key Holder did his best in the circumstances, but ultimately the responsibility for ensuring this goes to plan and meet expectations does lie with the owners.

Owner's Response: We sincerely apologise for the boiler issue. We use a management company and they never advised us that there was a problem otherwise we would have resolved the issue straightaway as we have never had a problem with the boiler. Unfortunately the key holder didn't contact us. We only found out yesterday that there was a problem when friends where staying at the apartment. Boiler has been changed and there are no problems. Please accept our apology we have spoken to keyholder and they have also apologised. This is a new employee and wasn't aware of procedure.

A great holiday!

Fantastic apartment with everything you need close at hand - pool is right beside the property, and there is a supermarket (Supervalu) a very short walk away. Restaurants and bars are extremely handy too.

Importantly for us there was Aircon in the apartment - a real bonus - with a lovely balcony and rooftop solarium.

Great communication and help from the owners, and they have compiled plenty of local info in the property as well.

We had a great time and hope to return on our next trip away.

We are stones throw away from the local tennis courts, children's playground, local supermarket and bars and restaurants.

Formentera has a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops and a pleasant village square (plaza) where the town hall can be found along with a traditional fountain.

Formentera is close to Parque Natural de La Mata y Torrevieja, a huge natural park area with many scenic walks and a wide variety of flora and fauna. also nearby are the cave dwellings at rojales and the famous Shell house- both worth a visit if you are in the area.

Near by is Torrevieja, a typical Spanish town which not only has some good beaches, it also has an excellent street market every friday morning.
