This recently refurbished modern villa is located within the pretty village of Durban-Corbieres.

The property offers spacious accommodation for up to 6 guests with its 3 bright comfortable bedrooms, bathroom, shower room and additional separate WC.

The main living space is made up of an open plan living room, dining room and fully integrated equipped kitchen.

French doors from the kitchen lead you out into the south facing rear garden where you will find the swimming pool with safety cover, sun loungers, BBQ and outdoor dining area together with great views of the surrounding hillside and chateau.

The villa has been finished to a high standard and offers all the conveniences you would expect for an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

About Darren Taylor

After many years of looking for a French holiday home that would meet the needs of our family, we finally discovered Durban-Corbieres. The village positioned amongst the many vineyards of the area remains unspoilt and has a calm relaxed atmosphere. There are many historic sites to discover locally as well as wine tours at the local vineyards and markets in surrounding towns and villages.

The coast line is also within easy reach with the nearest beach being just a short 25 minute drive away through the picturesque towns and hillsides.

The combination of what is available locally makes it a suitable location for couples and family's of all ages.

Well appointed villa, great pool and quiet location

The villa had everything we needed for our weeks stay. The enjoyed a couple of lazy days by the pool, visited Narbonne & Collioure and also did a couple of trips to the beach at Leucate. The village shop was well stocked and the bar/restaurant was also good. Would happily return.

Villa in Durban Corberies

Villa was clean and tidy and well presented on our arrival. Comfortable for 6 people. Free sat tv and good internet connection. Off road parking with a secured gate. Coal burning BBQ, and lovely pool. All within a secured garden. With easy walking distance of the village, which has a supermarket, pharmacie, restaurant (bar) even a local cinema. During the weeks we stayed the village held a festival which was interesting. With easy driving distance of places to visit. These include Carrcassone, Perpignan, Narbonne, and even Spain. We had a wonderful 2 weeks holiday and hoping to return.

Beautiful villa! Peaceful and tranquil.

We had a great time at Durban-Corbieres. I sat one evening by the pool and was accompanied by some beautiful swallows that swooped down and danced across the pool several times. We visited the boulangeri at the supermarket, as it was better and enjoyed several dinners at place des Marches. The food was amazing and the staff very friendly and approachable. The Minerve and gorges de galamus and lagrasse was amazing. We also visited Carcassonne again and Collioure, with different bays across the Spanish border.

Overall, it as relaxing, cosy and interesting to visit. The nearest beaches are Narbonne and Leucate plage. Would recommend a visit and the villa was beautiful!

The property was exactly as it is portrayed and was clean and comfortable.

Our week was very hot so the pool was a blessing. We got out and about and really enjoyed the area - particularly the Cathar castles. Darren was really helpful and having someone local for if we had any questions was great.

We really enjoyed staying at this lovely villa, it was so quiet and peaceful we totally relaxed.

Very well equipped with everything you are likely to need. The pool is great, it is well kept, there is a BBQ which was well used! Wifi

Village has a bar/restaurant, supermarket, pharmacy, hairdressers, cinema, petrol station , tobac, boulongerie and a bank, also visiting Pizza van.

Village Centre

A 5 minute walk will take you to the centre of the village where you will find a well equipped Mini Supermarket, Petrol Station, Boulangerie, Tabac, Florist, Pharmacy, Doctors, Cash Point and Bar/Restaurant.

There is also a medieval chateau on the hilltop overlooking the village and small church within the old village paths.
