About the property

Delightful chalet in a beautiful woodland park setting by the sea

An end of terrace chalet recently modernised. It has a fitted kitchen, lounge/diner with two settees adjacent to each other. The television incorporates a DVD player with a selection of DVD titles for all tastes, including children's programmes. The washroom includes an electric shower, hand basin & toilet. The hot water is supplied through an immersion heater. Panel heaters are features of the two bedrooms and a coal-effect electric fire serves the lounge. Electricity is included in the rental price. A double bed and cupboards form the main bedroom with bunk beds in the second bedroom, including a pull-out mattress for an additional person. The second bedroom also contains a large wardrobe.

NEW for 2018: Washing machine, ironing board and iron. Washing line to rear of chalet.

Bucklands 9 is a part of the Bideford Bay Holiday Park site operated by Park Resorts. The park is beautifully maintained and is an area of special scientific interest (SSI), winning an award from the naturalist David Bellamy.

The Manor House is the main activity area of the park. There are indoor and outdoor swimming pools here, tennis courts and mini golf features as well. In addition, there is an activity area for children to let off steam. Within the main building there is an amusements room and a soft-play area. There is a bar and restaurant area which is ideally placed for the stage and dance floor section. Entertainments are provided throughout the season and passes are required for access to the building. These are charged at the following rates for the 2018 season: 30th March - 22nd April £59 (week); £40 (3 - 4 nights).

26th May - 1st Sept £59 (week); £40 (3 - 4 nights).

All other dates £44 (week) £30 (3 - 4 nights)

Please note that these prices are per building and not per person. Also, these are charged by the Park and payable upon arrival at reception, should they be required.

The site also has a well-stocked shop, including newspapers along with essentials. An on-site launderette also serves the park.

Please note that from 15th July to 2nd September 2018 I am accepting bookings of full weeks only, Saturday to Saturday.

The property fulfilled all our requirements, the instuctions on how to get to the property were spot on, the kitchen was well equipted.

On arrival the place was a little cold but it soon warmed up.
