Very spacious and stylish 3 bedroom ground floor duplex apartment in the prestigious Nou Fontana complex, just 5 minutes' walk to the main Arenal beach area in Javea with its many bars and restaurants.

The complex has a fabulous 45 metre long swimming pool with fountain and jacuzzi, surrounded by palm trees and beautiful gardens. The pool is only 50 metres from the apartment. The complex is situated right next to a small marina with a first rate restaurant at the edge of the complex. The complex also has a gymnasium, steam room and padel tennis court. Near to the marina small boats can be hired for trips along the coast.

The apartment has recently been refurbished with the most modern facilities. The apartment is particularly light and spacious, and has fibre broadband wif-fi and ducted air conditioning throughout. Most of the pictures in the apartment are original art, painted by a local English artist who lives in Javea.

Fully equipped modern kitchen with American fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, main oven & grill, steam oven, induction hob and Japanese teppanyaki griddle, nespresso coffee machine, milk frother. Filtered water system means that no purchasing of bottled water is needed.

Extremely spacious living room with dining area. Large flat screen TV with satellite connection enabling reception of UK channels. DVD player and sound system with Bluetooth connection for playing music from 'phones or MP3 players.

French windows from the lounge and kitchen lead onto a south facing private sun deck, with barbecue and outside dining facilities. A sun awning can be wound out to give shade over the deck area if required. Sun loungers are available for the sun deck and swimming pool area.

Upstairs there are 3 large bedrooms. 2 are double rooms, and the third has twin beds which can be made up as a double if required. The master bedroom has an ensuite shower room with twin sinks. There is also another shower room on this floor, and a third shower room on the ground floor.

On booking we will provide an instruction sheet for the apartment, which will include a set of directions from the airport and other information about the apartment and local area.

Guests will be met at the apartment by Julie, who lives locally. She will show you round the apartment, give you a set of keys and answer any questions you may have. Please note that for arrivals at night time we are charged extra for meeting guests, and this is a charge that we have to pass on as an extra to the rental.

Javea has 3 distinct areas - the Arenal, the Port and the Pueblo. The Arenal Beach is popular with families and older people alike providing a large safe sandy beach, lots of water sports and a promenade with many fine bars, restaurants and nightclubs. The port area is very picturesque with a totally different ambiance with its fishing fleet landing fresh fish daily, the marina, shops and again many excellent bars and restaurants. The old town (Pueblo) is slightly set back from the coast and is a typical small Moorish-style village with narrow blind-alley streets and white-washed houses, and has a truly Spanish feel. There is an indoor market and many shops, art galleries and a museum. In the summer months there are wonderful festivals with spectacular fireworks, the Fiesta de San Juan is in June and the Moors and Christians festival in July.

Areas of interest and tourist attractions.: About 30 minutes drive away is Benidorm, with many spectacular attractions including the Aqualandia water theme park, the Mundomar dolphin water park and Terra Mitica - the new theme park boasting some of the largest rides in Europe.

20 minutes drive over the Montgo headland brings you to the delightful cosmopolitan town of Denia. Rich in history and culture, its streets are a fascinating showcase of architecture through the ages. Its buildings are a permanent monument to the civilisations that have made their mark here. The focal point is the impressive 16th century castle. The beautiful historic village of Guadalest set in the mountains is a place not to be missed by the visitor along with the 'Waterfalls of Algar', other nearby towns include Moraira, Calpe, Benissa, Teulada.

Nearby golf courses.: The closest golf courses are Club de Golf Javea with 9 holes, Club de Golf Ifach Moraira also with 9 holes. Approximately 12 km away is the larger Club de Golf La Sella in Denia with 18 holes and a further 10km is the Seve Ballesteros Club de Golf Oliva again with 18 holes.

About Mark Webb & Sally Jones

We are a company director and solicitor from Birmingham. Our 2 sons have left home for university. We both love the Javea area and purchased the apartment at Christmas time 2015. As we are both still working full time, we cannot spend as much time at the apartment as we should like, and the apartment is therefore available to let for much of the year. The location of the property could hardly be improved. Set on a quiet tree lined road right next to a small marina, it is only a short stroll to the main beach area with plenty of excellent bars and restaurants.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is particularly spacious, with a very large lounge and a sunny private decking area. Upstairs, the bedrooms are also large, especially the master bedroom. The communal pool is probably the best in Javea, being set in a mature garden area with many palm trees.

Amazing appartment all good quality appliances , beds comfy , bathrooms modern . Kitchen amazing

We arrived at app and saw how amazing it was , was so easy to keep , bedrooms huge and really comfy beds . My friends a chef so she was very impressed with kitchen . Plates forks knives glasses all good quality . We would definetly stay again , so near to Arenal and port . I can’t praise this app enough . A little Italian cafe around the corner , the British butcher , around the corner. Beautiful decking to sit outside and we did as it was 21 degrees in January and minus 10 in Scotland . I’ll be asking about this app for summer . 5 star x Julie is on phone if you need any help .

Lovely comfortable apartment

Stayed here for a week in August and the apartment was perfect in every way. Three lovely sized bedrooms with ample storage. Downstairs lounge was lovely and roomy for all the family. Located 5 mins walk away from the arenal. Lovely pool and gardens. Felt very secure and safe. Would recommend and would love to return.

Beautiful duplex, it a beautiful urbanisation in a quiet, peaceful location.

A stunning, modern and comfortable duplex.

The cool, contemporary interior feels crisp and bright while being welcoming and comfortable.

The urbanisation feels like a community, but very respectful of each others privacy and quiet times.

The pool area is beautiful and very well maintained.

Excellent location for car access and walking distance to the Arenal and the beach areas.

We could not have asked for anything more.

Extremely well equipped, in a great location.

We did not want to come home again!

Would love to stay again in the future.

I stay in Javea during the winter and required to rent this apartment for extra accommodation for family and friends to visit over a period of 3 weeks. I know the area and was able to choose with local knowledge and I was not disappointed. From accommodating my request for early entry, facilitated by a local contact, to the experience of having everything necessary to hand and all to a high standard. If you ever have a need for help an email will receive a response in minutes and the owners will not let you down.

We are very likely to return.

Lovely, well equipped apartment. Very spacious, excellent for our family holiday.

Lovely apartment, very well equipped. Great location for Javea and Arenal. Very clean, great communication, and met by local contact. Only marked down as a lot of building happening on adjacent site, which made sitting on Terrace very noisy. But the works will be finished in a couple of months so unlikely to affect in future.

Owner's Response: It was unfortunate that Sarah experienced some noise from the works near to the apartment. They are smartening up and extending the marina which should improve the marina facilities. We have just returned from a long weekend at the apartment (early December) and there was no noise from the marina. You would not expect this on Saturday and Sunday, but we were also there on Thursday and Friday and it was quiet. We think they must have just happened to be doing a specific job on the site which created noise for a short time. Mark & Sally.
