Our 5 year old 50 sqm. luxury top-floor apartment in the popular family resort Cabanas de Tavira, situated 150m from a stunning waterfront overlooking the Ria Formosa nature reserve. The apartment is opposite the Pedras da Rainha complex and above the Melhor Preco supermarket (v. handy for shopping!). The apartment is unsuitable for small children due to height of balcony. Cabanas is a small village, serviced by many excellent championship golf courses, restaurants and small bars ideal for families and couples looking to relax. Furthermore, the beach is believed by many to be one of the best in The Algarve. This 'blue flag' beach, accessed by a 1 minute boat ride has calm shallow waters, watersports, a cheap well-stocked cafe, clean changing facilites, toilets and parasol hire. there is a 30 euro charge For aircon April to end of September payable on arrival

Well equipped.

The apartment is well situated. Very near sea front , bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. Bus stop nearby. If you wish to cook yourself the apartment is well equipped, convenient to supermarket with a Butcher round the corner.

We did a lot of walking.

Elizabeth is an attentive host, her apartment is large and comfortable with a great terrace and is in a perfect location.

My cell phone crashed while I was staying there so I had no way to respond to her to thank her, but I was happy being able to enjoy her beautiful apartment.

Comfortable, spacious apartment in great location.

We have recently returned from a 2 week stay in June. The apartment is very comfortable, spacious and clean. It is in a very good location, being close to a supermarket and only a short walk from the restaurants and bars on the boardwalk of Cabanas. The large balcony with its canopy was a brilliant place to spend time relaxing with a book and a glass of wine. Lizzie was a very friendly and helpful host and made sure that we had all we needed for our visit. With air-con in the lounge and bedroom we remained comfortable even when the temperature was over 35°. We could not have wished for anything better and the apartment was also great value for money.

Simply fantastic.

The description given for this apartment is bang on the money, its location to all this wonderful little resort has to offer cannot be beaten.The apartment itself has everything you could possibly need for a great holiday. Lizzie the lady who owns the apartment is on hand at all times and really makes everything so easy from initial booking to keeping in touch while your there to make sure your happy. The beach is beautiful and only a few hundred meters away. To access the beach you must first catch a 30 second boat ride to a sandbar.

Faro is the nearest airport, approximately 30 minutes drive. Transfers can be arranged.
