Attractive first line seafront 1 bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor in the quality Las Palmeras complex. Large balcony which has furniture and lovely sea/pool views. Apartment has afternoon/evening sun and have recently been fitted with brand new independant aircon system to lounge & bedroom with separate remote control units for winter or summer use at NO EXTRA COST. Apartment has recently been fitted with independent electric hot water boiler and also has EUROCABLE TV and WIFI which is AVAILABLE ON REQUEST. The apartment has been completely refurbished Our Manager's office is located next to the entrance to the apartment block. All the multi-lingual experienced staff speak very good English. These beautiful apartments are in a secure gated complex with large pool surrounded by all kinds of services. Just a few steps from the beach and promenade where you can walk for miles taking in the sea views.

Apartments has use of the free unheated Las Palmeras Complex pool which also as toilet facilities. The pool is open approximately from 1st June until end of September (opening hours vary during the season) . Guests can also hire sunbeds and parasols from the attendant at the poolside if required.

You will find numerous bars and restaurants along the full length of the beach/promenade and port. The beach stretches for miles (European flag award). A great choice of sun beds, fishing area and children play areas. There are plenty of activities for all ages

About The Owner

We live in England and both love the climate and often enjoy walks along the promenade taking in the fantastic views as well as the variety of bars and restaurants to stop and enjoy a drink or a bite to eat. We often take the train to Torromolinos or Belamadena and walk along the beach when in the evening. The area around Costa Del Sol feels so relaxing. There is something for all ages here. The area is easily accessible from Malaga airport whether you drive or use the train or taxi services which are reasonably priced

Why The Owner chose Fuengirola

Malaga airport is 20 minutes by car/taxi. Alternatively you can catch the coastal train from Malaga to Fuengirola station and takes 30 minutes.

Walking distance to main road, there is a local bus service stop (across the road) for travel to Benalmadena and Torremolinos etc or bus stop (on this side of the road) for travel to Los Boliches and Fuengirola.

Fuengirola Town is 10 minutes and Benalmadena is 20 minutes away. The well known beautiful white village of Mijas is just about 30 minutes away from Fuengirola Town.Sites worth visiting for a day out is Rhonda with its beautiful scenic route and restaurant stop for lunch. Gilbraiter 90 minutes away and visit the monkeys

Quiet and friendly

No complaints, pool very good and no fighting for sun beds. Apartment very good with all you need. Safe and air con included. All you need close to you i.e. Restaurants and bars beaches. Great walks on the front.

Apartments are not noisy, 3 lifts to all floors.

Light & spacious apartment. Numerous restaurants & bars with beach right on your doorstep.

The property was well located for the shops, beach, tobacconist, newsagents, coffee shops, transport, bars, cocktail bars, TV bars and eating out, and you could not wish for a better choice of places to eat and enjoy a drink. There are Chinese, Indian, Steaks, Roasts, Fish and everything in between as well as fast foods and takeaway deliveries. One road up behind the apartment are banks, shops, more coffee shops etc. If you have kids, you will (possibly) be glad to know there is a Burger King, KFC, McDonalds nearby and a Dominos Pizza behind the train station. Its easy to get the hang of where you are as the roads seem to be mainly in a grid shape, so you get to know (and remember) where things are quite easily. The apartment has lifts which is always a bonus (but there are a few steps up to the apartment block door). Spacious and very light apartment with a good size balcony which is glazed so you can still sit there if it was a windy or rainy day, but can open it up on sunny days. Its an easy walk to the train station and buses. There are also a constant supply of taxis outside the apartment. Obviously with being right in the centre of things it can get a bit noisy late on Friday and Saturday nights when you are on the balcony, but this was not an issue which stopped you from sleeping as you can close the patio doors and the double glazing is brilliant and there is air con in lounge and bedroom. If you arrive late (after supermarkets are closed), there is a mini market out the door, take the first road right, and a few metres on the right, which stay open late. They sell bread, butter, milk, water, chocolate, biscuits, wine, beer, clothes, flip flops and other bits and bobs. Great until you can get to supermarket next day. Although there are several Moroccans selling trainers, handbags, toys and braiding hair, they are not offensive or pushy or make you feel uncomfortable, and are very pleasant when you stop to speak to them.They put there goods on the pavement so there is none of this chasing you down the road trying to make you buy something.

Great apartment in a great location

We have stayed here several times and it has everything needed from a safe to a washer and iron for those who stay a few weeks.It is right next to the beach,shops and night life but it's position means there is very little noise especially as there are windows on the balcony.The pool is very rarely busy so sunbeds are easy to get and the staff all speak English and are very friendly. With so many restaurants and friendly bars in Fish Alley two minutes away we love Fuengirola especially as the train station is just up the road with cheap journeys to all the towns up to and including Malaga and the airport.So this apartment is in the perfect location

Lovely relaxing week

Nice apartment view of sea front and pool. Had everything we required. Close to bus station and train station. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Can be noisy at weekends as it is close to bars. Was quieter in the week.

Good location

The apartment was in a good location and was furnished to a good standard. The kitchen could have had more cooking utensils such as oven proof dishes. The shower & cubicle was very worn and needed replacing.

Owner's Response: We will look into the Pyrex dishes. However in the last several years there has been over many thousands of euros spent up dating the apartment which included a new shower room. We also stayed at the apartment for a few days in the summer and still found the shower in good working order. Also in the last 18 months there has been independent air con installed in case the site is unable to turn the air con on. We also can not understand why if there were any problems that you did not contact or manager who's office is at the front of the building or even e-mail us directly.

Prices per week are in UK pounds. For weekly lets £5 extra for 4th person per night. Please use current exchange rate at time of booking if wanting price in another currency
Changeover Day:
We do not insist on Saturday to Saturday arrivals. Occupy the apartment from 3-4 pm. If you have an early flight cases and luggage can be left inside the apartment subject to agreement with our Manager. Vacate by 10 am unless there are no bookings.

LONG TERM WINTER LETS are also available NOVEMBER - APRIL.
Monthly lets available for early (MAY - June) and late summer (SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER)

TRANSFER ONLY AIRPORT TO APARTMENT - approximately 2-3minues walk from inside the airport to the train station. The train journey (approx cost €2 per person) takes approx 35minutes along a lovely scenic route. Trains run from about 6.30am to 10.30pm with trains running every 20 to 30 minutes depending upon the time of year. The apartment is within a 3-5 minutes walk (300 - 400 metres).
KEY PICK UP - from our Managers office which is located next to the entrance of the tower block - Monday-Friday 10am to 6pm (not open on Spanish bank holidays). For late afternoon/evening weekday, weekend or Spanish bank holiday someone can meet you at the apartment with the keys for a fee of €30, THIS IS NOT REFUNDABLE. If guests live in UK set of keys can be posted (depending on availability) at no additional charge about 2 weeks before arrival.
PRIVATE TAXI SERVICE - for late afternoon/evening weekday, weekend or Spanish bank holiday arrivals guests can use private taxi service operated by our Manager. For taxi fare of approx. €40 your driver will meet you at airport with set of keys then drive you to apartment
