Having lived in the area since 2007 we had been searching for our ideal property and were able to secure this home in 2015.

We spend our time between Tavira and the North West of England, with increasingly more time in the Algarve as family commitments reduce.

The property was brilliant.

The property excelled even the description on the website. It was spacious, clean, well maintained, in a beautiful location with far reaching views of the countryside around. The welcome party was very efficient and we would certainly recommend the property to anyone wanting a quieter location for their holiday even though the amenities were close by.

Wonderful location in a fabulous house

This is a new, and nicely decorated property. The location is fabulous with far reaching views from the front rooms and balconies.

The property is a large one with plenty of good sized rooms. There are 3 lovely bathrooms, the master ensuite has a jacuzzi bath.

All appliances are excellent quality.

All in all a great place to stay.

Tavira is an old moorish town with a historic cultural centre. Along it's cobbled streets and narrow alleyways Tavira offers a wealth of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.

Take the road train around the town and visit the beautiful cathedral and castle gardens, the ancient roman bridge across the Gilao River where four hundred year old homes flank the river bank and the picturesque central plaza where you can relax at one of the many pavement cafes.

Take the water ferry to Tavira Island with it's expanse of unspoiled and award winning sandy beaches.

On many summer evenings concerts are to be enjoyed in the town plaza by the river.
