Beautifully furnished house, overlooking delightful waterways, on one of the most exclusive roads of Port Grimaud. 24 Hour security in gated road. The house has sunshine till midday, & offers shade for the afternoon. The garden, patio and sundeck offer plenty of space. Large 'modern' living and dining room & lovely hall entrance leads to modern kitchen with all the latest facilities. First floor has two double bedrooms, one with its own sun terrace, together with the guest bathroom & separate toilet. The top floor is devoted to the private Master Suite Double Bedroom, with changing area and en suite luxury bathroom. Master Suite has two balconies, facing to the front & rear. Berth for boat 38 ' overall. The house is 5 Minutes walk from the village centre with restaurants, & boutiques. Renters gain access to the private beach and can take the free Residents Ferries around Port Grimaud. St Tropez is accessed via Ferry. Private parking included. Absolutely Non-Smoking, and No Pets.

Sailing and Motor Boating: The sheltered waters of the Bay of St Tropez offer excellent sailing for beginners. Lessons and sailing boats can be rented nearby.

A list of locations to Charter Sailing or Motor Boats is available.

Also, Port Grimaud offers courses in saling and the handling of motor boats, so proficency certificates can be awarded

Water skiing and Windsurfing: The Port Grimaud beach is the perfect place to rent water-skiing lessons, or to hire wind-surfers.

Coastal Walks and Boat Trips: Within 20 minutes drive there are beautifully laid out coastal walks around the bays and beneath the cliffs.

From Le Lavandou, there are high speed ferries across to the lovely islands of Porqueroles, Port Cros and the famous Isle de Levant.

Why John C Wallace chose Port Grimaud

We bought the house because it is a good size, in the most exclusive of roads in the area, and has sun in the mornings, and has shade for when one gets back in the late afternoon. Also, with good security and effectively no traffic, its a great place for kids to play. The house is close to the marina for larger boats, and its good to walk along the mooring areas, to see what's coming and going. We use the mooring for a good sized speed boat, so we can nip over the bay to St Tropez, and to the famous beaches of Tahiti and Pampelonne.

Its our summer place, and it has mostly original paintings and pictures, which we hope our guests will like.

What makes this house unique

There is nowhere else like Port Grimaud. Its the only marina where all the houses are architect planned to look natural, and as if they had been there as long as the charming old parts of St Tropez itself.

a perfect family holiday

my husband an i booked this canal-side house for our summer holiday, and wanting to get away from the crowded and overpriced riviera hotels but not wanting to be cut off in a villa (the children would have got bored), it turned out to be the perfect solution.

we all absolutely adored the house, it was so well furnished and decorated, unlike many of the other sparsely furnished villas we have stayed in over the years.

we rented a boat during our stay, and beeing able to have it at the end of the garden was such a bonus! port grimaud really is a sweet little town, and we had great fun exploring the canals, the kids loved the beach, and richard and i loved the little waterside restaurants- perfect for romantic meals in the evening.

at the recommendation of the owner, we got waterskiing lessons for our 10 year old daughter at the watersports center, which she loved, and my husband took our son go-karting nearby, there was so much for them to do that they never once wanted to watch tv!

the local and st tropez markets were perfect, truly french in character, and are run for locals, not tourists, and i have to admit to having got carried away browsing the hundreds of fashion boutiques in st tropez.

we were all sorry to leave at the end of the week, but we are definatly going to come back to port grimaud and the same house next summer.

i would whole-heartedly recommend this house to anyone, old or young, and definately to anyone with kids!

A Home Form Home

We holiday every year in Port Grimaud and all the descriptions of the area do not capture how great and lovely the area is.

Although we feel Port Grimaud is our second home this home was one of the first that we have arrived at, walked in and felt truly at home with very good facilities and a very pleasant lady who changes the linen

The position for easy access to the hub of Grimaud is ideal, a short walk finds you at the restaurants, shops and cafes. Relax on the terrace and watch the world go by or go out and about, this is a good location

As a family we would return and would recommend this home to any and all age groups

Wonderful Family Holiday

We found this house to be very well situated close to all amenities.

The house its self was VERY clean and spacious. The neighbourhood was very friendly. The area its self felt very safe and secure. I would certainly recommend it to anyone. And we look forward to visiting again real soon.

Great Getaway

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful week in Port Grimaud and had an extremely relaxing time in this great house which has everything you could possibly need. The garden is lovely as it opens directly onto the waterfront and you can watch the world go by in the morning and then take a short walk to the beach in the afternoon.

Very convenient for the weekly market and all the shops bars and cafes and there is a huge supermarket only a 5 min drive away should you need it.

The house itself is full of french charm with lots of light and great feeling of home.

Altogether thoroughly recommend the house and the area for anyone wishing a chilled out break.

Port Grimaud. At the western end of the beautiful Bay of St Tropez, the village was the inspiration of Francois Spoerry, who always dreamed of a Venice styled village, with canals and moorings for boat lovers. Every road and house is different, and are linked by picturesque bridges and its own water bus service. 24 Hour security and garden maintenance are provided throughout the year. There are two markets which visit the village square each week. Nearby are the famous villages of Grimaud, Gassin and Cogolin, all with excellent restaurants and shopping. The dazzling beaches, harbour front and nightlife of St Tropez is only 7 kilometers away. The best parts of St Tropez remain the lovely small streets, and alleys, well away from the harbour, which can be explored for charming small restaurants and shops. The range is endless, and the explorers skill is in remembering just where you found that perfect bistro!

Local Area. Monte Carlo and Nice are about an hour away, and so all the famous Cote d'Azur resorts such as Cannes, Antibes, and Juan les Pins are within easy driving distance. Nearby, is the amazing Gorge de Verdun, and the large variety of Provencal villages, as well as are the lovely coastal walks near Cap Camarat. Boat users can visit the beach restaurants and explore the islands off Toulon.

Golf: La Mole Golf Course is ten minutes away by car

Rentals for two Weeks or more. Rental for two weeks is at 95% of above weekly costs. Rental for three weeks is at 90% of above weekly costs


Booking and Security Deposit. All Rentals are subject to a Deposit at time of booking of £ 250 or €300 for any rental. The deposit is payable by cheque in the UK or by transfer in Euros to France. Payment of Full Rental is required within 60 days of commencement of stay. After departure and approval of the house by the Housekeeper, the Deposit will be refunded, on return of the keys.

Rental Payment Details. Full details are available as soon as a booking is confirmed by receipt of the Deposit. The Deposit is always in £ sterling, payable in the UK. Rental payments can be in Euros at the current rate of exchange, paid to the bank specified. Full payment must be received 60 days prior to commencement of your stay or the booking will be regarded as lapsed, and the house made available for re-letting.
