Smart apartment with great balcony

Apartment is straight out of a magazine; modern, stylish and everything clean and new. A bit smaller than some, there was plenty of space for the 2 of us. Kitchen was smart and well equipped for making breakfast though may be a bit small for elaborate cooking. Maria was helpful and showed us how everything worked. The immediate area is fairly quiet, nearest restaurants about 5 minutes away or 15 minutes for a bigger choice. There's a supermarket in the shopping centre 3-4 minutes walk away and Bolhao metro just beyond that. San Bento station is about 15 mins walk - longer coming back as it's up hill!! We particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings and would recommend it.

Overall this is a wonderful place to stay. Be prepared to get your steps in. This is about 20 to 25 minute walk from Dom Luis bridge. Lots of restaurants, pubs, wine bars near by. Very uber friendly! Two small grocery stores nearby. Very close to the via caterina shopping mall. Huge balcony with a slight view. The only bad thing i would say is the property was a little cold some nights. If visiting in January or February, something to consider. Maria the owner provided lots of blankets in the apartment. All appliances worked well. The shower had good water pressure and lots of hot water. The kitchen is small, but who wants to cook on vacation anyways! Thanks Maria!
