Astoria is a great neighborhood, very safe and convenient, sec. camera.
There are plenty of shops, fantastic restaurants, museum, markets, parks,
and beautiful views of the city skyline.
Walking distance to subways, just a few stops from midtown Manhattan.
It's also very easy to catch cabs and Astoria is very close to LaGuardia airport
and you can easily get to JFK.

We also request that guests remain courteous of the condition of the place and our neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum, especially at night.

Excellent and highly recommended!

The property was as described and the area lovely, great location to be out of the hustle of the city but close enough to be easily visited each day by subway or ferry. I suggest you try Bel air Diner just down the road as its amazing! The owners were lovely and communication spot on. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great apartment and good location

We stayed there for 1 week in October 2018 as a family of 4 adults. Julien and Diana are great hosts and made our booking, arrival and stay easy. The apartment is in a great location approx 15 minutes (slow) walk to Metro as the closest station, Broadway is current closed for renovation. It is also a great location to get to the ferry. Local amenities are also within walking distance The apartment has been newly decorated and is well equipped, if I had to find a negative one of the double beds was too hard for us, so we swapped rooms, no dramas there. We travelled into the city daily and the N&W lines served us well. I would have no problem in recommending this rental to family or friends

Una buena zona para alojarse.

Desde el primer momento la comunicación con los propietarios fue fantástica, la ubicación es muy buena a 30 min de Manhattan, barrio tranquilo con muchos restaurantes cerca, Julien y su familia son muy cercanos, buena gente, te explican todo aquello que quieras saber de la ciudad. El apartamento está limpio, es amplio y las normas de convivencia son sencillas, (obligatorio zapatillas de estar por casa). Sin duda repetiría si vuelvo a NYC.

Our New York experience (based in Astoria)

We had a great time at the accommodation, the location is ideal for direct transport into NYC although the buses and trains can get a little crowded. The apartment was exactly as described and was great to have the 3 bedrooms which enabled us all to have our own space when required, all facilities and local amenities were great, would certainly recommend. Thanks again for making us welcome and giving us some good tips to help us enjoy our NYC experience.
