We have available three two storey detached lodges, all close together at Honicombe Manor, so if your dates are showing as booked on this advert please do contact us as we may have another similar lodge available or if you want to book for a larger group of 10 - 28 people please contact us for availability and special rates.

The Dartmoor Lodges are two storey detached houses equipped with everything you need for a family holiday, with four bedrooms, a family bathroom and a further shower room, suitable for 8-10 guests. Outside you will find a patio area with outdoor furniture so you can easily enjoy the landscaped grounds. Surrounded by fields, woodland and streams and with views of Dartmoor, the setting is tranquil and picturesque in the beautiful Tamar Valley.

Each holiday home offers generous accommodation and is perfect for travellers on a budget. Comprising a large living room, fitted kitchen with all the usual appliances, shower/cloakroom and two bedrooms on the ground floor and two further bedrooms and a large bathroom with corner bath on the first floor. Constructed with a modern timber frame rendered externally and benefits from full double glazing and night storage heating. Surrounded by communal gardens and lawns accessed by the patio doors from the dining room. Nearby there are ample private parking facilities. Duvets and bed linen is included.

Honicombe Manor has an indoor heated pool, a relaxing sauna, a small outdoor heated pool with sun terrace, gym, games room, a bar and a restaurant (facilities may not be available all year). Wifi is provided in the Manor House but not in the lodges.

Set in the beautiful Tamar Valley on the Devon/Cornwall border, just a few miles from the coast, the vibrant city of Plymouth and rugged Dartmoor. Surrounded by fields, woodland and streams and with views of Dartmoor, the setting is tranquil and picturesque.

Whitsand Bay is the nearest sandy beach to your base at Honicombe, in Cornwall's forgotten corner, this is one of South East Cornwall's best beaches with a 3 mile stretch of perfect sand (approx. 30-40 min drive away). It is also close to Torpoint, Rame Head, Freathy and Tregantle with their excellent clean sandy beaches.

If you want to explore further on foot, the South West Coastal Path offers guides and maps on the public footpaths along this stunning stretch of coastline. A little further the popular seaside destinations of Looe, Polperro and Newquay are easily accessible as well as The Eden Project and many other family attractions.

Liberty Holiday Lets has a number of these lodges, they are all the same size and layout but the furnishings, number of beds and decor may vary.

In the heart of glorious countryside yet just a few miles from the coast, the vibrant city of Plymouth and rugged Dartmoor. This popular holiday home has a welcoming atmosphere that brings guests back year after year. With the advantage of a rural location yet several nearby visitor attractions.

There are a variety of typically Cornish villages nearby together with the popular towns of Callington approximately 4 miles distant and the market town of Tavistock approximately 7 miles distant.

St. Ann's Chapel is a small village situated approximately one mile from Gunnislake where there are good shopping facilities and traditional pubs. There is also a railway station less than one mile away with a regular train service into Plymouth city centre.

This holiday home provides an excellent base to explore this fascinating area. There are walking and cycling rides nearby. Professionally supervised outdoor pursuits including canoeing, climbing and abseiling can be organised.

The neighbouring village of Calstock has train and river cruises down the Tamar Valley to Plymouth. Park and ride, and enjoy a day exploring the National Maritime Aquarium,the waterside bars and restaurants as well as the other historical attractions of this famous nautical city.

Also close at hand is the Living Museum of Victorian Life at Morwellhan Quay, complete with carriage ride and train trip into the mine which provides another fun, informative day for all the family.
