Great location. Clean and tidy

Great location. Perfect for what we needed. Once the car was parked we were so central, we didn't need to use it again.The flat was clean and tidy.

We will return. But there were a few thing that let it down and which would have made it 5 stars from us. We have had many short daily lets and weekly lets over the years. So are just comparing what we had elsewhere for very similar prices.

The lounge was great. Large comfy sofas and a big tv. All we needed for a relaxing evening.

The kitchen had all the basics. But lacked things we have found in other rentals like oven gloves, scissors, good frying pan, tongs, tin foil, proper cereal bowls, tin opener, potato peeler, corkscrew, bottle opener, seive, colander. Although there were cleaning items, all were almost empty. Hand wash, washing up liquid, surface cleaner. Many people wouldnt cook when away. But we do and we found it frustrating with so many things not available.

Bedroom one had a comfortable bed. But had no wardrobe. There was ample space for one. Even a simple rail wirh hangers would suffice. The carpet strip missing at the door meant i kept catching my foot on the gap. The 2nd bedroom had a large wardrobe but only 4 not very good hangers. The single bed although comfortable was very squeaky and it woke the person sleeping in it when they moved. There was no hairdryer.

On arrival we couldn't get in. We tried and tried but eventually gave up, found the office number and called. The code had been changed. There was no welcome pack with basics like instructions about where to put rubbish and recycling. No info on wifi access. Local info might have been a nice touch. Restaurants, menus for take aways, local emergency numbers.

Like i say. The flat is great. But small things would have made it perfect.

Ideal for our needs

Found the apartment comfortable and central,however there was 4 of us with only a double and a single bed made up.
